Location, bed was comfortable, cookies at front desk was an added touch, we asked for a later checkout at noon which they were willing to change.
The staff.
At the front desk Sunday the woman who did my checkout did not offer me a copy of the bill for review. So I asked her for a copy of the bill and she said she had already closed the screen so I had to tell her I want a copy to review anyway. It was then she pulled up and printed me a copy.
In the dining room at breakfast on Sunday I asked the waiter if he would make me an omelet and the guy said ‘no’. A few minutes later I saw another diner with an omelet
When we were ready to leave our room 1124, I called the concierge to ask if they could bring up a trolly because we had a lot of items. The guy’s answer was “We don’t have the staff to bring up a luggage trolley but you can come down and get one yourself. When we got down to the lobby, it was practically empty and there were 3 bellmen in the front standing around.
In all three cases your staff was just lazy about taking an extra step to give us quality service.
The pool and fitness center are good, the staff is welcoming, and my room felt very clean.
The Renaissance has been remodeled recently but still feels dated. The hotel is right on Stemmons Fwy, so the ones that face the freeway are noisy, even at 1 or 2 am from the sound of cars passing. Even on the eleventh floor! Do not book here if that will drive you crazy.

Everything was wonderful! Sha’Kira was so helpful at check in. We love staying here, the staff is always so welcoming and friendly.
It was a nice stay at the Marriot Hotel , front desk Shakira assisted me check in, she is so sweet and helpful! Very fun to chat with!

We were warmly welcomed at the reception desk by Karina who was very accommodating and helpful. She exhibited hospitality at its very best. The room was spotless with comfortable, supportive beds, great pillows, and fresh, clean linens. The view of the Dallas skyline was beautiful. Drapes provided full blackout - optimal for sleeping. Minor mini-fridge problems (had been left on defrost mode) swiftly & efficiently corrected by Darryl, the superb Maintenance Technician. Could not imagine a nicer hotel.
Came down to Dallas Texas for my Girlfriends Hope works conference. During our stay I visited the Asador Bar and had Great warm welcome from Manger Gurkan Eyigor , Chris , Matt and Jorge for the couple days I stayed at the Renaissance there positive , friendly Manner and knowledge of the cities sites kept me coming back everyday of my visit. Other than the laughs and info they were giving they also had special touch on my food and drinks served to me. The stay was so great i recommended my cousin that is coming for a soccer tournament to stay in this wonderful Hotel ran by really great and professional crew.
Our room was delightful
And, we thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant & the club lounge experience.

We just checked into the Renaissance Dallas Hotel and had to stop what I was doing to write this review immediately. From the moment we walked in, the energy was welcoming, but it was Shakira who truly elevated our experience. She handled our check-in with such warmth and professionalism that it felt less like a hotel transaction and more like being welcomed by a friend. Her attention to detail, genuine smile, and willingness to go the extra mile set the tone for what I can already tell will be a fantastic stay. It’s rare to find someone so passionate about customer service these days. If you stay here, hope you get to interact with her! I LOVE the Renaissance here on Stemmons Fwy in Dallas! It’s my home away from home and the staff here are amazing! From the front desk to the restaurant to the 27th floor hospitality lounge to the housekeeping staff, this is a remarkable hotel! 5-STARS all around!

Our company stayed at this establishment while going to a conference in Dallas. Little did we know that two of our packages got left at the hotel containing merch, company banners/table cloths, and handouts. As a small company, we were very disappointed in losing these packages containing important marketing materials. Loretha from the Loss Prevention/Shipping and Receiving department called me three weeks after our visit and let me know that she had our packages, safe and sound, and that she would be happy to ship them to us, as we are not native to Texas. She was beyond helpful, extremely sweet, and really saved our company a lot of time and money by reaching out and taking care of our items. We will DEFINITELY be staying at this hotel again, I cannot recommend it enough, and the customer service is impeccable! Thank you, Loretha. :)
