The management of this hotel ignores you in an effort to make you go away if you have an incident on their property caused by their safety neglect.
I was here in September of 2025 in a business conference and someone had improperly taped down an electrical cord across the walkway to the buffet in the hall area. My shoe caught the cord and I went flying and landed several feet away on my side trying to catch myself prior. I was in a lot of pain so they had me lay there a minute and then they helped me up and took me nearby to a sofa to rest and answer questions about the incident for a report.
They immediately changed the taping of the cord and were all very attentive to my care and gave me a card to contact them if I needed anything. They did ask if I needed an ambulance and I declined because I did not feel like I had broken anything but was just in a lot of pain in my hand and side. Even that day my hand swelled up really bad, turned black and blue and my side was hurting but I thought I would give it some time to heal from the trauma.
A week later I went to ER due to continued pain and swelling. They said my hand was badly hurt but would heal with time and my ribs were bruised but nothing to do for them either. The pain lasted for several weeks and using my hand was difficult and painful. My insurance covered all x-rays and cat scans except for the $50. deductible.
I called the hotel and asked them just to cover that for me since they had said to let them know if I needed anything. They said the manager would call me back. After 4 phone calls with their rep, Skylar, over a period of 5 months with the promise they would get with me and with no returned calls I have decided THEY JUST BLEW ME OFF!
I could have sued them for what happened to me but that is not my style. I thought they were respectable people but apparently NOT. It's not the $50 anymore it the principle.
It was an amazing stay, the staff was awesome, Anthony was the best! I would stay again just because of his help. So yes, an excellent place when he is around.

This hotel is in disrepair. I cannot believe they would call us a four star hotel. It has not been remodeled in 30 years.
We had a really great experience staying here. The front desk supervisor Anthony was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive from the moment we arrived. He was very quick to help with anything we needed and made us feel genuinely taken care of throughout our stay. You can tell he truly cares about the guests and goes above and beyond to make everyone feel comfortable.
We also had a great experience with the bartender at the hotel lobby bar, Erik. He was friendly, easy to talk to, and made the atmosphere feel very relaxed and enjoyable. Both of them really helped make our stay memorable. Thank you again for such wonderful hospitality!
Very nice
All good
The room was perfect...with the city view.
pool
nothing
We enjoyed staying here, Anthony at check in was very helpful. Rooms were nice, food was good at restaurant. Had a great time and just in time for San Antinio Festival.
They had a party both nights next door until 6am and hotel staff did not do anything about it. Could not sleep both nights because of loud music and people
ROOMS VERY CLEAN
Good location. Nice rooms
Terrible in several respects. The alarm went off at 4 am even though I didn’t set it. I had to unplug it and put it outside the room. I was also stuck in elevator, the emergency signal did not wait and when I called hotel from my phone they put me on hold. After more than 39 minutes they got the elevator door open no one asked me if I was ok, they seemed more interested in keeping me quiet. No one offered me any compensation for this harrowing event. There’s more also the resturant offered inlets in weekend but not during week even though price was the same. Most Resturants offer omelets from kitchen when they don’t have a station up and running. Staff were not very helpful.
Clean and comfortable. Staff was courteous and friendly.
Bed was too soft for my preference, but I know some people prefer soft beds. I prefer a firmer mattress.
