Location, that’s it.
The staff were lazy/ unhelpful. We brought in all of our own luggage and push the luggage cart ourselves without any assistance. The private parking fee was outrageous, $77 for one night. The lobby felt very unwelcoming. It was dimly lit, empty, and lacked any inviting atmosphere. The complimentary water station was always empty, the hotel's dining options were also outrageously expensive, making it difficult to justify eating on-site. We found our room to be unclean. There was hair all over the shower before we had even used it. Our party consisted of eight guests, five adults and three children. The hotel gave us two rooms: one with a single king bed and another with two double beds. I expected the king room to include a pull-out sofa, but it didn't. I don't understand how the hotel expected eight people to comfortably stay with those accommodations. They did send up a rollaway cot, but it was extremely uncomfortable, you could actually feel the metal wires poking through the mattress. The worst part was Room 707, the room felt very uncomfortable to stay in. From the beginning, we couldn't even get into the room with our key card. Front desk said the room is rarely used, so the door lock was "rusty." Instead of fixing it, they showed us a makeshift way to open the door by pulling it hard toward us while pushing on it a certain way. We were eventually able to get inside, but then the door would jam from the inside as well, making it difficult to get back out into the hallway. We reported this to the front desk, and they sent someone to fix it, but it was never fixed posing a serious safety hazard. My aunt staying in Room 707 said that around 3:30 a.m. she had a frightening experience. She felt as though something was lifting her arm and making it difficult for her to breathe. Whether others believe in paranormal experiences or not, it was terrifying for her and left us feeling extremely uneasy.
The room was perfectly fine for a 3-night stay. The bed (mattress) was comfortable. The location was very central in downtown Philadelphia, with many attractions and amenities within walking distance.
The worst part of our stay was that there were protesters outside the hotel on the days we were there. They made an incredible amount of noise, resulting in severe noise disturbance.
Room wasn’t cleaned well mold in the bathroom. Dusty smell in hallways. Dirty carpet.
Very Good experience. The staff was very hospitable, and a special Thank You to Tianda! She made my stay the least of my worries during my stay! Thanks Sheraton, in a time where customer care is almost non existent, your staff proved that there are still some good businesses out there who care for their customers!!
I felt safe and the view was beautiful
Clean and friendly
Nothing. Even the small hotels are better than this place. After paying over $700 for two nights.
You pay for everything. On the website they said breakfast included which was one of the reasons why I went there. NO MICROWAVE in room. You have to pay for parking. You have to pay to go in and out. You have to pay for breakfast. I went walking all over to find breakfast instead of paying $25 per person for their buffet. Worst experience I have ever had. Even the small hotels treat you better. They have a money grabbing mentality like Spirit Airlines had. I wonder.... After complaining I was aĺowed to have breakfast and was told that I had break fast for one the day before.
