En rigtig god oplevelse som vi er glade for at have haft
Pros:

Det er en fuldstændigt fremragende hotel. Beliggenheden er supersmuk og værelserne/hytterne er skønne. Det var helt ekstatisk at vågne om morgenen og gå ned til stranden og restauranten. Personalet er superflinke og giver gerne gode råd til at rejse alle mulige andre steder hen.

Cons:

Restauranten er dyr og udvalget er begrænset. Hvis man kommer fra København skal man være indstillet på at alt er til "Nyhavn-priser". Hele området er dyrt og der er langt til byen. Vi var forberedte på det og var på ingen måde på budgettur, men jeg ville nok ikke tage dertil igen uanset stedets skønhed. Den der konstante fornemmelse af at blive bondefanget er irriterende. Der er andre smukke steder i Mexico hvor tingene er mere i balance

Je recommande vivement!
Pros:

Merci pour l’accueil chaleureux du personnel et pour ce superbe séjour en pleine nature. L’hôtel s’intègre parfaitement à la jungle de Tulum, offrant un cadre authentique et ressourçant. Le service est non seulement rapide, mais également d’une qualité remarquable.

L’environnement est animé par de charmants animaux qui s’aventurent discrètement autour des bungalows, créant une atmosphère intime et apaisante. La plage est très agréable et l’emplacement de l’hôtel procure un sentiment de sécurité tout au long du séjour.

Si vous souhaitez vous isoler et vous ressourcer après une période de travail intense, c’est l’endroit idéal pour se détendre, que ce soit en famille ou en couple. Je recommande vivement !

Gerne wieder, aber dann in der Hauptsaison
Pros:

Wir waren insgesamt drei Tage vor Ort. Der check-in verlief problemlos. An unserem Zimmer (Maya Dschungel Suite) angekommen wurde uns ein Upgrade angeboten, welches wir jedoch ablehnten. Da wir in der Nebensaison da waren , war sehr wenig los. Das Restaurant MAIA war gar nicht besucht, was uns schon zu denken gegeben hat. Daher können wir über das Essen nichts sagen. Die Preise der Getränke sind schon etwas gehobener für mexikanische Verhältnisse (eine Coca Cola Light aus der Dose umgerechnet 5€). Wasser gibt es an gewissen Stationen umsonst. Das Hotel an sich ist schön gelegen, der Strand ein absoluter Traum. Wofür das Hotel nichts kann ist das Seegras. Damit muss man immer und überall rechnen!! Das Hotel ist nicjt mehr so ganz auf dem neusten Stand. In jeder Suite/Hütte könnte msn etwas renovieren. Bezüglich Stromausfall: wir haben einmal in der Nacht für eine Millisekunde einen Stromausfall gehabt. Danach spring direkt wieder alles an.
Wir würden das Hotel grundsätzlich weiterempfehlen allerdings nicht in der Nebensaison , da es doch schon fast wie ausgestorben ist.

Beautiful natural experience and great atmosphere, but the comfort did not match a true 5-star standard.
Pros:

A truly unique experience inside the national park, surrounded by nature and just steps from the beach. The atmosphere was beautiful and peaceful. The staff was kind and welcoming, and they even offered us a bottle of champagne for our honeymoon, which was a very nice touch.

Cons:

The comfort level was honestly below what we expected from a property presenting itself as a 5-star experience. We understand the natural concept, but it should still be possible to combine nature with a higher level of comfort and amenities.

O design, tudo é lindo. Temos a impressão de que dormimos numa obra de arte.
Apreciamos muito a intimidade do alojamento.
Tinha rede mosquitos🙏 e um mini frigorífico para meter a água e fruta

L’hôtel est dans un environnement calme.

Cons:

La climatisation fonctionnait mal : bien que nous l’ayons réglée au minimum, il faisait tout de même très chaud dans la chambre.
L’eau de la douche était froide et le restaurant de l’hôtel est très cher.

De plus, l’hôtel étant situé dans une zone protégée, il faut payer des frais supplémentaires chaque jour pour y accéder. Par conséquent, lors des excursions, les prestataires ne peuvent pas venir vous chercher directement à l’hôtel : il faut marcher plus de 30 minutes, et l’établissement ne propose aucun service de navette, ce qui est assez surprenant compte tenu du prix de la chambre.
Le wifi ne marchait pas.

En résumé, le rapport qualité-prix ne correspond pas du tout au niveau de service proposé.

Nice hotel but unfortunately fell below standards expected.
Pros:

Really nicely built and pretty. On the beach. Close to the Tulum ruins archaeological park. Staff were pleasant and worked hard to maintain cleanliness.

Cons:

The hotel is in the national park so there’s checkpoints to get in and out. No plastic is allowed on site so bringing in your own water bottles or even food (eg fruit) in plastic containers from the supermarket is a problem and inconvenient. Although the hotel pitches itself as luxe, the food served was below the standard I expected. This was disappointing as it then meant trekking out of the hotel to the main town to have meals etc and with the plastic issue we couldn’t bring back much into the hotel. The treehouses don’t have a mosquito net and the sargassum (seaweed) like other hotels was not being cleaned up so the beach view wasn’t fantastic.

Totally perfect. We wouldn’t change a thing.
Pros:

Beautiful and clean hotel with a perfect vibe. Staff very attentive but not grotesquely subservient. We came here for the first few days of our honeymoon and it was heaven. Ignore the stuff about seaweed in the area (we came in May) it’s totally not a bother and really doesn’t detract from the immense beauty of Ikal. Strong recommendation on a treehouse - totally magical. Worth every penny and incredibly good value.

Glamping in de ‘Mayan’ jungle
Pros:

De kamer had een leuke uitstraling en het was vrij schoon voor iets midden in de jungle. We hadden weinig last van ongedierte.

Cons:

De advertentie en foto’s zijn misleidend. Het is gewoon een basic glamping hotel in de jungle. Overal zand en stenen. Het wordt verkocht als een luxe beach hotel maar de faciliteiten zijn erg basic, locatie is erg afgelegen, de kamer/boomhut was niet zoals omschreven (bijv geen kluisje en zithoek/eettafel), het ronde bed niet comfortabel en de wc was buiten terwijl het op de foto’s leek alsof de badkamer wel gewoon naast de slaapkamer zat. Voor een zwangere vrouw niet aan te raden, tenzij je dit gewend bent. Wij waren in de veronderstelling dat er meer comfort en luxe zou zijn. Het restaurant eten was oké maar weinig diversiteit omdat vaak ook bepaalde gerechten niet beschikbaar waren. Ook al was het laag seizoen, van een dergelijke plek in Tulum had ik meer verwacht. Even langsgaan bij een ander hotel zat er niet in want het is gewoon te ver lopen of je moet een dure taxi nemen voor een paar minuten. Ook was niet duidelijk dat je per dag moet betalen om in/uit het park te gaan. Het feit dat ze toeristen die al betalen voor een hotel ook nog entree moeten betalen is absurd (en ook nog een extra fee voor als je met een taxi naar binnen gaat, want het is anders 30+ minuten lopen vanaf de gate). Daarnaast hadden ze de motor van het mini zwembadje waarmee het water beweegt pas na 4 dagen aangezet en het water schoongemaakt. Daarvoor konden we er niet in zwemmen. Verder waren ze tegenover ons bezig met het bouwen van een nieuwe boomhut dus hadden we ook nog geluidsoverlast de laatste paar dagen. Al met al, als je een klein budget hebt en veel op excursies enzo gaat prima plek, anders zou ik wat anders zoek zoeken.

Séjour incroyable à Tulum 🌴
Pros:

L’hôtel est idéalement situé juste à côté du Parc Jaguar, quasiment dedans et proche des ruines de Tulum ainsi que de plusieurs cenotes.

Nous avons eu la chance d’être surclassés pour l’anniversaire de mon copain. Nous avons eu une magnifique chambre style cabane dans les arbres avec piscine privée, salle de bain ouverte sur l’extérieur, hamac et transats. Ambiance vraiment dépaysante !

Beaucoup de petites attentions très appréciables : bouteilles d’eau, chocolats offerts, peignoirs, chaussons, serviettes de piscine, produits de toilette, anti-moustique et aloe vera !
La piscine commune était également très agréable.

La mer se trouvait à même pas 30 mètres de notre chambre.

Le restaurant sert de très bons plats.
Des cours de yoga sont également proposés.

Mention spéciale à la femme qui nous a accueillis, adorable et très patiente. Elle expliquait tout parfaitement malgré notre anglais approximatif 🫶

Le ménage était impeccable tous les jours, la climatisation et le ventilateur de plafond étaient parfaits avec la chaleur extérieure.
Le wifi fonctionnait aussi très bien, ce qui est plutôt rare pendant notre voyage au Mexique !

Cons:

Petit point à savoir : il faut payer la taxe/droit d’accès du Parc Jaguar pour pouvoir accéder à l’hôtel avant 17h (sauf le dimanche), cela peut surprendre si on n’est pas au courant.

Il y avait des sargasses pendant notre séjour, mais l’hôtel n’y est évidemment pour rien.

Petit bémol aussi concernant les boissons au restaurant : plusieurs étaient indisponibles par manque de stock.
