The price of room was high for what you got
The place was comfortable & well maintained.
I was very disappointed in the charge. Booking.com charged me 2x the normal rate for my room. I would like at least a partial refund. Thank you!!

This has a tired 70s hotel vibe, but it's clean and comfy, and very convenient if you're coming in late and flying out early. They run a great free shuttle service to both the AMH ferry terminal and the airport, and the cost is on par with Alaska prices (although about 3 times what you would normally pay for this standard of hotel in the lower 48.)
The food choices! Without a car your choice is Donna's (didn't try it) or Valley (awful, but memorable..... rocking the 60s diner vibe, which was the clealy last time they updated it.)
The location close to the airport made it a great choice for us. We were able to see the sights and make it to the airport quickly.
No air conditioning bothered one in my party. That said I thought opening the windows and turning on the fans made it very comfortable.

The location was convenient. I was far enough away from the tourist chaos downtown to be more peaceful. Right next to a great diner!
NO HOT WATER! For a charge of over $250 a night, you would think you would get a warm shower. We informed the front desk who said there was nothing they could do. There was also black mold in the bathroom. The building is old, the elevator was broken. A stairway leads to a dead end back yard, not the lobby. Disappointing given the price.

No hot water. I would start the hot water running as soon as I entered the room, then maybe by the time I got ready to shower, I might only have to wait another few minutes for hot water.
