Very nice hotel at great location in Santa Monica
Pros:

Very nice hotel at a good location. Free bikes were a bonus. Good breakfast in the morning (not included).

Cons:

Room was quite small for 2 beds.

Pros:

Location and staff are the best things about the hotel.

Cons:

It’s overpriced with very few amenities. Parking is expensive ($70+ per day with tax) and outdoor with no protection, our car came back with a giant bird excrement on it. Pools are salt water but small. Food is average.

Cool hotel at a great location
Pros:

Cool hotel at a great location. Loved the vibe and it’s close to the beach and everything Santa Monica has to offer. Staff was very friendly, helpful, and professional, and specially Edwin, Alex and Christa went above and beyond to make our stay great.

Good vibes close to everything

Pros:

La ubicación fantástica, a un minuto de la playa y a 5 minutos del Pier de Santa Mónica, nos hicieron un upgrade y la habitación era preciosa y con unas vistas al mar increíbles. Las camas comodísimas y todo el personal super atento y amable. Repetiríamos sin dudarlo, muy recomendable.

Not worth the money stay someone else
Pros:

I would not recommend staying at the Santa Monica Viceroy. Overall, the staff here is not helpful and seemingly has quite the attitude as if you are fortunate to stay there. The additional fees are laughable when you realize that they do nothing for you so as... no pool service whatsoever... the coffee bar and restaurant... order yourself and wait. The pool area was littered with pizza boxes and food not picked up. It was disgusting. The area was also disappointing as it was not safe after 9 pm. I will not stay here again.
