Horrible hotel experience
Pros:

Absolutely nothing, worst hotel experience.

Cons:

We booked three rooms at the Balmoral Hotel and the rooms were terrible. When we entered the rooms we all had appalling experiences. My room was very dark, it smelt and it had no towels. My colleagues room had spiders on the bed and while complaining about the room conditions a rat walks across the reception floor. We requested a cancellation which they refused to give but we moved out immediately. This is not a 4* hotel standard and the staff were incapable of addressing customer complaints.

It was stayable
Pros:

It was close to a lot of things and the staff were very friendly and helpful. 🤭😊

Cons:

The other guests did not consider other guests. There was a lot of noise and the staff didn’t do anything to assist in alerting the noisy guests to keep it down… which made our relaxing very much uncomfortable 😣

Friendly staff, liked the lady at the reception with an Afro. She walked us to our rooms.
Pros:

The breakfast was amazing. Exceeded my expectations.

Cons:

Limited parking, improve/upgrade your bathroom. We are in 2026, no need for that shower inside the bathtub.

Exceptionally outstanding
Cons:

The stay was exceptionally well, we were a big group with consisting of young adults so on the first night we were accused of stealing cold drinks and that didn’t sit well with us because the staff member was there and I was also there to help with facilitating the drinks being handed out. That was very frustrating as it went on for a while.
