Proximity to Riverwalk
Unusual motorized humming noise prevented a good nights sleep. Was charged for wifi even though it was supposed to be free and had to request removal from bill twice; even though I advised at checkin that it would be free.
Our flight to our honeymoon destination was delayed an extra day so we had to find a hotel. We told the staff and came back to our room after dinner to chocolates & champagne and it was so sweet!

Loved the view 😍
Nothing it was amazing
My husband and i stayed at the La Mansion del Rio for 3 nights to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. We had stayed here years ago. We absolutely loved our stay again this time. Our 2nd floor room overlooking the Riverwalk was delightful. Highly recommend. The atmosphere at the hotel is wonderful. Will forever treasure our stay.
Omni La Mansion was absolutely amazing. Every Omni worker was kind, professional and always willing to help. Marisela's bubbly personality, professionalism and great customer service skills- was a great start to our Omni La Mansion del Rio experience :-)
The hotel went above and beyond by surprising our son with a chilled bottle of champagne and four cupcakes waiting in his room at check‑in. We hadn’t planned anything special for his birthday, but their thoughtful gesture created a celebration we’ll never forget. Every staff member we encountered was warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay memorable. They accommodated our needs effortlessly and made our son feel celebrated in the sweetest way. It was truly the best hotel experience we’ve had, and their kindness turned an ordinary stay into a meaningful family memory.
Cleanliness, location and staff.
Nothing. Everything was great.
Right on the River Walk, loved the old feel of interior but very well kept and clean.

Beautiful location!
No complaints
I stayed at the Omni La Mansion del Rio with my wife for our anniversary from May 22nd till May 25th. The room was listed as a suite but it was really small. There was a King Bed but it was way to big for the room, everything seemed shoved in there and there really wasn't a lot of room for 2 people. There were only 3 small drawers for clothes inside a big unit that kind of looked like an old stereo systems console from the 70's. I realize it is a converted hotel but it did seem antiquated but it was nice. The bed was very uncomfortable and the sheets were not very fancy it definitely was not what I was expecting from a hotel listed as a 4 star. The 4 star hotels I have stayed at before had big fluffy beds and super soft linens not something like you would find at a Holliday Inn or some other lesser hotel. The bathroom was also small but the soaps they had were awesome and smelled great and the water pressure from the shower was fantastic especially after a long day of shopping and walking around. The towels were also very plain and not soft again something more like what you would find in a 2 or 3 star hotel. The river view was nice and the shared balcony was ok but not something I would consider worth the extra money I paid for the river view. The hotel was nice and I did enjoy my stay for the most part but you can tell it was converted and it had a musty smell in the hall and the elevator was very jerky when it went up and down. Overall it was an OK experience it just did not meet my expectations of what a 4 star hotel.should be .
Loved our stay at Omni. The location on the Riverwalk simply can't be beat. Parking across the street was only $10/day. There is a Walgreens on the next block, and VooDoo Donuts a couple blocks away. A room with a shared balcony overlooking the Riverwalk is absolutely worth the extra cost. The staff was attentive, polite, and always willing to answer any questions we had. And we couldn't hear ANY "street noise" - not even when the Spurs won & we were warned about cars honking and people yelling. Didn't hear a thing. As I saw other hotels that we had considered, I 100% knew we made the right choice!
Everything was wonderful the location and the atmosphere. The staff was outstanding and went out of their way for us. Clean and Quiet. Value was great for where we were. I think the prices of drinks and food were quite high and they could improve, we would buy more.
Perfectly located with excellent Riverwalk access and views as well as delightful restaurants and bars onsite and nearby, but most of all the staff was unbelievably attentive. They made our enire group feel like we were staying with family! It was perfectly clean, but maybe a little dated as though we were staying in old Madrid. Truly beautiful.
This historic hotel offers all the modern amenities and has some of the best staff and team members. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel when in San Antonio!
