There was an issue with a guest pulling a fire alarm and proceeded to beat a car with a fire extinguisher in the parking lot. The whole hotel had to be evacuated at 6:45 am. The fire department came and cleared the alarm promptly. Upon checkout, we were pleased with the discounted room due to the inconvenience. They didn't have to do this, but it was a very professional thing to do. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming.
The rooms were very clean and the breakfast was great for us to grab a. Bite and get back on the road.
Staff was very nice
rooms need updating. My kids wouldn't stop coughing during the night could have been from carpet. But rooms need an upgrade
The staff was friendly and the breakfast was included which I liked. There was also good parking.
The room had some cosmetic damage. In the morning of my second day, there was a man shouting profanities, pulled the fire alarm and then proceeded to smash in cars windows and hoods in the parking lot. This made me feel very unsafe. On the bright side police showed up very quickly. But I am not sure I would want to return to the hotel for another trip after this experience.
The staff was great! Peter at the front desk was very helpful and kind. The person who checked us out (I didn’t catch her name) was very friendly and accommodating!
The pool was very cloudy and seemed like it might have not been maintained as well as it should have been. There was a VERY dirty wash cloth in the tub which made me wonder what else wasn’t cleaned.
Nice, clean room. Breakfast. Good coffee and oatmeal plus fresh fruit. Pleasant staff.
Service was great, especially check-in! I think it was Debbie? She was fantastic. In the evening,I stayed in the lobby working for awhile and all her interactions with guests was great. The breakfast was also wonderufl.
The pool was pretty murky and didn't seem clean. We had been excited to use it but were turned off and didn't get to use it, to the huge disappointment of my son.
Beds were very comfortable. Room was clean. No insects, etc.
Staff took a long time to respond to request to clean room and also took a long time to fix our toilet when it got stopped up. Disappointing but not awful.
Super clean, staff was nice
Too far away from where we needed to be. Stale cookies at reception. Little pricy for what it was.
Deborah who takes care of the breakfast area is fabulous! Keep her happy and don't let her get away! Breakfast was pretty good both days. Patrick was helpful and very pleasant, As senior citizens with mobility issues, we were grateful to be on the first floor.
The morning crew (didn't get their names) seemed indifferent and as if they were annoyed to answer questions. The toiletries in the bathroom were hard to deal with - dispensers at vanity are far from the sink, a new bottle was in the shower but hadn't had the squirter popped up so my spouse thought it was empty. The toilet paper is ridiculous - even when bunched up to get some substance, it shreds when used. The washcloth had a big hole in it. My brother was in another room and said there was no wake up call service. Overall, I don't think it was worth the price. Do better, Hampton Inn!
Proximity to our destination
Breakfast was quite a disappointment 🙃
It was clean, close to Portsmouth, the rooms are large and the beds are very comfortable.
The front desk was helpful and accommodating.
Nothing
Everything was wonderful the staff the room the cleanliness the hot tub the pool.
The staff was very friendly
The room smelled like mold and the carpet was very soiled. And the breakfast was terrible. I didn’t have high hopes for a hotel breakfast and yet it managed to disappoint.
beds wear very comfortable, sheets were clean and so were the bath towels
Bathroom was not cleaned properly. My wife found someones hair in the bath tub. Also the carpet was not vacuumed. There's construction going on near the hotel, so prepare for your car to be covered in dust, lots of it. Continental breakfast could have a wider selection besides, eggs, very thin bacon and home fries. There was no juice was available, the machine was out of service.
Friendly staff
Lost power and had to get dressed and showered in the dark. No offer of a refund or something to make up for the inconvenience
