Comfortable stay, would stay here again!
Pros:

Great location, staff were great with us. Room was cleaned everyday, fresh towels throughout the stay. 10 minutes walk to bourbon street and 5 minutes down to the Mississippi River.

Valet. I was told if my car was off grounds they couldn’t get my car and I was told to get a uber to get where I needed to go. I told them that wasn’t going to work because I had several places I needed to go. He then told me I could walk 4 blocks to get my car myself. I understand that they had streets block off but not all streets wasn’t block. After I demanded that they get my vehicle I was told if they get my vehicle I wasn’t able to use valet the remainder of my stay, which was fine I ended up parking somewhere that was cheaper. Remind you I was paying 55.00 dollars a night to valet wasn’t like they were doing it for free. The approach was all wrong.

I am extremely disappointed with this experience and would not recommend this hotel based on my stay.

My stay at the DoubleTree on Canal Street was a horrible experience. Both my guest and I were bitten by something while sleeping in the room. I have attached photos showing the bites. This was extremely concerning and uncomfortable.

On top of that, we had to ask for towels multiple times before receiving them. The overall service and cleanliness of the room did not meet my expectations at all. I am extremely disappointed with this experience and would not recommend this hotel based on my stay.

Pros:
