Best hotel EVER!
Pros:

This was our third stay and we loved it. Valet guys were friendly, hotel staff was great, the room was very clean, usually i have to wear socks or slippers in other hotels because it feels like the floors weren't swept or old carpet is dirty but Double Tree is clean. The bed is almost as comfortable as mine at home. And you cant beat the location. We walked to House of Blues. The aquarium and board walk are right there. Perfect Place.

The loction was perfect for attending the funk fesr. Housekeeping was good about leaving coffee and towels as we asked.

Cleanliness of the hotel was lacking and not what you’d expect from this hotel brand.
Pros:

Location. Relatively close to the French quarter but not in the French quarter.
Bellhop and valet were fast and eager to assist. Front desk clerk changed our room when needed.

Cons:

Cleanliness. The hotel wasn’t very clean. Had to change rooms because there was mold in the bathroom. The counters weren’t wiped down. Floors weren’t swept. The hallway was dirty, there was a rat trap by the ice machines that was already set off (no mouse) but just shows they never checked it in the 3 days. Ice machines didn’t work. Overall an older hotel that needs updating and better cleaning. After voicing concerns, management offered a partial refund and other comps but that never came. Overall it made for an unpleasant stay. Hopefully they revamp the hotel and work on cleaning process.

Our stay was enjoyable and very convenient to everything we wanted to do.
Pros:

Location was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful, Everything was clean.

Cons:

I have never stayed in a hotel that didnt have coffee available in the lobby, That is a convenience my husband always makes use of because he is an early riser and always gets coffee in the lobby.

Nice!
Pros:

It was a great location and the room was really nice!!! Overall very happy. I would book here again and I would recommend it.

Cons:

The only complaint I have is that several of the light bulbs were blown or not working.
