Amazing location and staff
Bathrooms are small
Location
Room too small , long wait time to check in only one person working the desk be prepared to wait
Great location. Very comfortable bed. Reasonable room size. Great staff and service.
Very small bathroom. No glasses or a mug. Just disposable cups.
They didn’t send me the invoice
Location was great, room was clean and comfortable.
The bathroom is very, very small. As small as you are imagining, make it smaller. I was a solo traveler, so it was fine. Just be aware
I liked the proximity to the theatre.
The air did not work. The bathroom was way too small. We couldn’t find the restaurant. There were no signs or anything so we went next door for breakfast.
Pet friendly!
I ended up staying here because I was in Atlanta for a conference and this was just about the only hotel that was walkable to the conference center but had prices in the range that would be approved by my employer. My room was clean, modern, and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall, I had a good stay. As for specifics...
The bathroom was super tiny. Like, not even enough room on the floor to spread out the bathmat towel. If you're a larger person, the shower might not be big enough to be comfortable. When the bathroom door is open, you cannot open the room door without slamming into it. Space in the room was very economically used. I've seen hotel rooms like this in cities like New York and Chicago, where everything is compact, but was surprised to find it in a sprawling city like Atlanta. All this being said, the space was well used (with plenty of shelves and hooks). The water was hot and the water pressure was good.
I liked that the room had a comfortable chair to sit in. Next to one of the nightstands it could make a nice laptop station that was actually somewhat ergonomically correct (as opposed to hotel desks, which never are). There's also a little counter near the door with the coffee station - this was a nice spot to work standing up with a laptop, to eat (so I'm not bringing my take-out farther into the room), and to stage my bag to take with me for the next day. The room had a fridge but no microwave. The floor was hard (laminate) with a circular rug - decent amount of floor space to open a suitcase. The room might have been tight for two people, but for one person it was a nice size.
The air conditioner is one of the wall/window units with the compresser right in the unit. It was loud but it worked efficiently. Would have preferred central air. There's also a good amount of street noise (including sirens since there is a hospital right across the street) - but this is probably true of any hotel in the area, except maybe the super tall skyscraper ones where you can get a room on a high floor. The sheets were clean but smelled strongly of bleach. Large comfortable bed and super comfy fluffy feather pillows. Had some of my better night's sleeps that I've had in hotel rooms here.
The hotel does have room service but the restaurant menu is rather limited. I did get breakfast down there a couple of mornings and the staff was nice and accommodating of special requests. The food was also good - expensive but good sized portions and good quality. The restaurant has a theater theme since there is a historic theater right across the street. Nice atmosphere and fun theater memorabilia on the walls; wish I would have liked something on the menu enough to try dinner there, but there are tons of excellent restaurant within walking distance.
The hotel was clean , with modern amenities in an older building which been redesigned as a boutique hotel.
Akim at the front desk was welcoming , knowledgeable , friendly and kind.
The bed was comfortable and the bathroom design excellent. The room was on the small side with little space for luggage but with space to store clothing etc. There were lots of charging access points - both USB and AC throughout the room.
Jasmine is a gem- at the restaurant, She helped me with making my choices for breakfast and was attentive to my needs. Adolfo in the kitchen cooked the breakfast and it was delicious !
Hotel indigo Midtown, Atlanta is an oasis in the middle of a bustling city and I look forward to returning in the near future .
What a fantastic location and even more wonderful team! A must stay if in the area.
The most comfortable bed in any hotel I’ve stayed in ever. The pillows were absolute perfection and the giant king bed so comfy to stretch out in.
I
Thank you to Don for your patience and answering all my questions and for having non feather bedding sent up to is. All of the staff here are amazing. Hotel is clean and well maintained. Quiet and in great location. Towels were fluffy and soft. Very dog friendly. Quiet halls and we loved the ear plugs. I have never had a hotel supply them. Very nice touch. Easy walking distance to get to restaurants and pet relief areas. We loved our stay.
The property was art deco style, very nicely decorated with a very nice bar area. It was conveniently situated for our Emory Hospital stay just four blocks away on Peach Tree Ave. It was a very nice place and exceptionally clean. The water was hot but the shower slippery underfoot. I’m an older person not wanting to fall down.
I did not like the huge price tag of an average double bedroom with a very small, airplane style bathroom which had small double doors which I kept hitting myself on when moving around in there. It was very modern, very clean and with plenty of soap and lotion and bath linens. The coffee maker did not work and although plenty of coffee I did not like the selection of flavored teas. There were no regular Lipton style tea bags. Water in the room was $12 for a liter bottle which I could not believe. I left early the following morning so I do not know what food was like there.
I was at Indigo for 2 nights. The people working there were all super nice and I had a good experience but today I received an email that I have been charged over $500 for smoking in the room. I DONT SMOKE! This seems to be a scam and a profit center. I have written two emails so far with no reply. I am currently waiting to hear back from them to resolve this and remove this charge from my credit card. I will not be staying here again if they do not cancel this charge . Have your room seen by management BEFORE you check out and get clearance before you leave. Be advised!
The location is great and super convenient if you are going to the Fox Theater for an event. The hotel itself sucks. No complimentary breakfast, $50 for parking and a room so small you can poop and brush your teeth at the same time. I would never recommend staying here again. If I could go back I would pay the extra money and stay at the Marriott. The AC in our room wouldn’t get cold enough even with the fan on high set at a specific temperature. I’m surprised they didn’t charge us to use the elevator at this point. Other than location easiest the worst hotel I’ve ever been too especially for the price. Go to the Marriott it’s worth it and the price is almost the same. The hotel wasn’t very clean either and that was noticeable from the lobby. The service was decent. The attendant at the desk wasn’t able to answer many questions and seemed annoyed if you asked any questions. The atmosphere was super small with no room at all
Convenient location. Close to anything you could need. Safe area. Lots of newer businesses and housing around. Close to FOX theater. Food options available.
There was hair on my wall shower. Alerted the staff about it and nothing was done about it. I am a bald man so I know I did not have hair missing that was long. Worst was that nothing was done about it when asked to clean my shower again.
