Excellent location in downtown, very close to the Medina. Very good breakfast options, comfortable room. Offers hamam, massage at a price.

Cons:

The bathrooms smell a bit due to the water - I think. The staff needs to be a bit more proactive in responding to emails as atleast mine were unanswered!

A COMFORTABLE STAY

LOCATION, accessibility, safety, service, friendliness, warmth, hospitality, food, amenities, front desk, quiet, very well kept & cleanliness, view from terrace, bed & pillow comfort etc etc! Ich wurde noch in keinem Hotel dieser Welt gastfreundlicher behandelt. Da mein Rückflug seitens der Fluggesellschaft von Dienstag auf Mittwoch umgebucht wurde, hat das El Minzah mir eine weitere Nacht einfach geschenkt. Von dieser Großzügigkeit mal abgesehen: Das Personal ist höchst professionell ubd zuvorkommend, die Zimmer sind wunderschön, die Bar wartet mit Live-Musik auf, der Pool ist zum Niederknien. Und die Lage zwischen dem Gran Cafe de Paris und dem Gran Socco - zentraler geht nicht. Wenn ich wieder nach Tanger komme, werde ich wieder ins El Minzah gehen.

Cons:

Le dîner dans le restaurant marocain le couscous était sans légumes (seulement oignons et raisins) et le poulet vraiment pas bon. Dommage qu’au bord de la piscine la bière ait été servie sans verre et surtout la capsule jetée dans l’herbe sous nos yeux ébahis. Le foutoir qui régnait à droite de la piscine (cela ressemblait à une décharge…) mais le lendemain c’était plus propre! Mini bar totalement vide???
