Gorgeous setting. Staff extremely friendly and accommodating, with warm smiles and personal greetings everytime you see them. Also very good recommendations and assistance for coordination on restaurants and sites to see, plus transportation.Restaurants in hotel very good. Out of tourist/congested area . The bar and terrace for apertivi was spectacular.

Loud. Although isolation of the hotel is mostly a plus and is nice being away from the masses, it is a touch far from centro and other sites of import. The shuttle helped but need to account for the time when planning. Also, noticed
15% auto gratuity on pool side charges for food and drink. We always tip in cash generously and weren’t made aware of it until i happened to notice that we we’re double Tipping. Perhaps better explanation to guests about that.

Ganz schlecht ! Lage Katastrophe Bauarbeiten direkt am Wasser (Strinfelsarbeitrn mit Kran) Start ab 6 am am Morgen . 15% Trinkgelfd wurde versucht bei jeder Malzeit direkt zu verrechnen . Reingung wurde mit 70€ pro Tag (!!) bei Abschlussrechnung versucht zu buchen - absolut unseriös !! Check in war erst 3:30 pm bei Anreise - so etwas haben wir noch nie erlebt

Waren froh, dass wir die Kultur täglich mit Besichtigungen kombiniert haben ! Booking com muss sich mehr sensibilisieren für 5 Sterne Hoteld, die Bauarbeiten habe. Und das unbedingt auch angeben

A pristine property.
Though the location is quiet and serene it is a bit far from the city center.
The grounds of the villa are beautiful, the staff helpful and friendly, and the food delicious. The location is perfect to enoy peace and quiet after a full day in busy Palermo.
I wish there was some kind of integrated kids club so childrne can play supervised while adults enjoy a glass of wine in the beautiful gardens.
We chose Villa Igiea for our honeymoon and were generously upgraded to an amazing suite with loads of hanging space and an incredible luxury bathroom. The Highlights: Service & Drinks: The staff are the most attentive we have ever encountered, and the cocktails at the terrace bar are absolutely fabulous. The Property: A stunning Art Nouveau palazzo with gorgeous seafront gardens and a beautiful pool.
Top Tip: Do not walk into town from the hotel. The immediate area outside is a little rough around the edges, but the city itself is absolutely amazing once you get there. Use the hotel’s free shuttle or a taxi instead.
