The hotel was a wonderful experience the building is simply beautiful in decor.and.design. The rooms.are.large and comfortable. The staff were very attentive and we really enjoyed the breakfast with plenty of.choice, including tempting delicious cakes and various tarts.

Visited the bar at Grand Hotel et Des Palmes during our stay in Palermo and the setting itself is absolutely stunning. The historic interiors, grand mirrors, elegant chandeliers and beautiful architecture create a very impressive atmosphere from the moment you walk in.
We stopped for cocktails and to experience the atmosphere, and visually the place feels full of old-world elegance and history. The cocktail presentation was beautiful and the bar area itself is definitely worth seeing.
At the same time, the hospitality experience did not completely match the luxury image of the surroundings. Service was polite, but felt a little distant and lacked some of the warmth and attention you often expect from a truly exceptional luxury hotel bar.
Still, it is a beautiful place to visit for a drink in Palermo, especially if you appreciate historic interiors and classic grand hotel atmosphere.

The hotel was decent overall, but there’s definitely room for improvement. The room was clean, but a bit outdated and lacking some basic amenities you would expect. The staff were polite, though service felt a little slow at times. Location was convenient, which was a plus, but the overall experience didn’t fully meet expectations. It’s an okay option for a short stay, but not something I’d strongly recommend.
