Pros:

Loved the unique style of the hotel and room, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. We didn't use the facilities available due to not being around the hotel when they were open, but it's nice that there were options if we had more time to spend at the hotel.

Cons:

For the price of this hotel room there are certain things that I felt were missing, they are small but have a big impact on the comfort of the stay. There was no mini bar or snacks or bottled water, we arrived back to the room late during our stay and everything near by was closed and there is no convenience store near by, so we would have greatly appreciated some snacks even if they were expensive. I wished there was a robe, especially considering there are facilities such as sauna and pool at this location. Although the bed was comfortable, the pillows were lacking and I wish there had been 4 pillows instead of just 2 small ones.

Would stay again!
Pros:

It’s funky and unique. There’s the pool with a waterslide and what they call Grandma’s Basement, a rec room with a pool table and other things to do. They have board games available to borrow. Exceptional place to stay with the kids. The retro vibes made it memorable for sure! The front staff gave my kids stickers and Rubik’s cubes.

We loved it and would stay there again.
Pros:

Nice large clean and stylish room. Comfortable room to hang out in with ample seating and a practical kitchenette with a decent sized refrigerator. Fun pool area and great little breakfast cafe onsite.

Cons:

The location is pretty convenient but it is on a busy multi lane street. We did sometimes hear sirens or traffic noise outside but the room itself was quiet. The rooms facing the road could potentially be noisy.

It was ok, but i left feeling that it was way overpriced for what it was.
Pros:

I chose the Zed as a fun getaway with my adult daughter. I chose it for the retro decor and the great stay we had at another Zed.

Cons:

Not that this can be helped on your end, but the constant sirens, and early construction noise was deafening. We stayed in room 350 which had a bed in the main area and a king room. The king room had no air conditioning, and a fan would have been a lifesaver. Earplugs recommended for the traffic and sirens. I had hoped there would be a bar/restaurant on site as there are not any food options nearby except for the KFC sharing the parking space with the Zed.

Very nostalgic. Thought of my grandparents home and being with them. Very comforting.
Pros:

Excellent attention to detail. It felt like the owners really want their guests to be thoughtfully amerced in the experience. Also everything was new clean and well kept. I wish I stayed more than one day. Definitely check out grandma’s basement. Loved everything about it. Breakfast was great at the attached diner too.

Cons:

Location was just ok but I’d be happy driving to activities from there. Not a deal breaker.

Super vibe, staff and location!
Pros:

The vibe was awesome, staff were super nice, the pool and waterslide was warm and a great option, and the family suite was well stocked for a family of 4. Being across from the mall also made picking up dinner and groceries super easy.

Fun n funky
Pros:

The slide is awesome, the pool is a perfect temperature. The decor, the breakfast place, the funky amenities, the closeness to the galloping goose as we ride our bikes here

Cons:

The noise from the street. It sounded like our window was open but it wasn't, just a loud street and maybe thin windows. Also, I don't stay at hotels much so maybe it's the going rate but ..it's expensive to do it.

Our new go to!
Pros:

It's super cute and you can tell it's a labor of love. All the little details made our stay so much better than we imagined. The staff are so sweet and helpful. We will definitely be back and will be recommending hotel Zed to all our friends and family.

Cons:

It would have been nice to have some plates, bowls and cutlery. But it's not a biggie.

Fantastic and welcoming family accomodation!
Pros:

The vibe was great! THe space accomodated our group very well, the pool was perfect for the kids and the little extras (from toys and games to rotary phones) completed the excellent family stay.

Cons:

Our pack and play for the toddler had not been delivered as asked.

Loved the "vacancy" vibe. Was waiting for someone to busy through the door hahaha, in a good way. Loved all of it.

Cons:

There was a kid that kept screaming in the pool and I was like, sir, there is no need to be the loudest animal in the zoo. No one seemed to think him yelling at "Lucas" to save him from some imaginary pool shark was fun.
