I like the closeness to the museum and the view of my room was very neat. Also, the pool was temperature controlled (warm) and had not one, but two jacuzzi. The outdoor terrace was great at nighttime. The staff was friendly.
That being said, my room’s floor (carpet) was not clean, and everything else was dusty. I also didn’t liked that it feels like anyone can go inside the hotel, use the elevators, and go into the pool/gym because you don’t need your room card to access these features. There is staff by the elevators and the pool, but I doubt they can keep track of who is a guest and who isn’t (as the staff who welcomed me back (and everyone else) but I haven’t even done check in…). Also, most hotels have some type of reception at the lobby with at least access to cold water, tea/coffee, hot cocoa, etc. but none in this hotel.
Gorgeous location. Ozel with HGV was spectacular. Very knowledgeable and helpful and answered all my questions and had a great offer! Decor for the hotel is gorgeous and the location is very convenient.
