Oxford Suites Pismo Beach

Loved staying here and would love to be back and stay longer. The resort is very clean and comfortable, they give you a ticket for a welcome drink And the breakfast is really good! The gardens and flowers are very well taken care of, and it's a 3 min drive to the pier and downtown Pismo. The only "con" was that we didn't have enough blankets as it was a cold night, so it was hard to fall asleep. I couldve asked for one, but I was already cozy (although kinda cold) in bed to get up and do it. Once I was asleep, it was fine. The young gentleman who checked us in (don't remember his name, it might've started with an R) was kind, quick, good at giving instructions & friendly.

Absolutely loved our stay! Cj and Team were so kind and welcoming and that s another main reason why I’ll be back for all business and family trips! Easy access to restaurants, Starbucks is outside the door, the pool area was nice and clean and the rooms are spacious! Everything exceed our expectations! Especially the buffet area!

The location was excellent, just a short drive off the 101 freeway. You would think that being so close to the freeway you would have to deal with the road noise, but that was not the case. It was a large well designed complex. The room was quiet and well appointed with a small but comfortable entry room , a spacious bedroom and a bathroom. The rooms surrounded a variety of green spaces including a fenced in doggy park for those with pets. The cafeteria was in a separate location, well stocked and maintained by the friendly staff. Sausages, French toast, cereals were all included in the cost of the room. To keep the cost of the room low, general services such as daily clean up chores, clean towels every day etc were minimal, but can be requested. We found the staff friendly and even sociable , with free drinks during happy hour and breakfast included it is a good value for families, of which we saw many. If there was anything negative about the place I would say that the bathroom needed a bit of updating. The tiled floor was a sandy brown in color, which looked dirty but wasn’t . The shower system was a bit complicated but do able. So that’s about it. I would recommend it for families, ease of location, reasonable value and even though it is located in Grover beach, it’s just a short hop to Pismo Beach, Shell Beach, Avila Beach. Need I say more?

Location is great, close to the beach and shopping. Atmosphere is good. Rooms are ok, they layout on the first floor felt like a cheap motel, specifically there is a two quarter size in width gap between the door frame and door, light and air flows in and out of the room. Cleanliness was not acceptable in my opinion, the shower had mildew and thick soap scum in between the tiles and door rails. Value is acceptable for the location. Would I stay there again, probably not.
