Wunderschönes Apartmenthaus im historischen Gebäude in zentraler Lage.
Pros:

Das Gebäude ist wunderschön und denkmalgerecht saniert. Allein durch das Gebäude der ehemaligen Oberfinanzdirektion zu gehen, hat uns sehr beeindruckt.

Vom Empfang bis zum Auschecken waren alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Kühlschrank war mit (kostenfreien) Getränken füt die Erstversorgung gefüllt. Unser Wunsch, für das Doppelbett zwei Decken zu erhalten, wurde binnen weniger Minuten erfüllt.

Die modernen Doppelfenster bieten eine sehr gute Schallisolierung so dass auch die direkt vor dem Gebäude verlaufende Hochbahn kaum zu hören war.

Das Appartment war für uns drei (Ehepaar und erwachsener Sohn) sehr groß und komfortabel ausgestattet: vom Ankleidezimmer bis zum zuverlässigen W-LAN war alles vorhanden, die Räume schön groß, die Küche und das Bad komplettausgestattet. Der Fitnessbereich im Untergeschoss hatte moderne und gepflegte Geräte.

Das Beste aber war die Lage des Hauses: ob zur Speicherstadt mit der Elbphilharmonie (ca. 1.000 m), den Landungsbrücken, Sankt Pauli oder zum Jungferstieg (ca. 700m) bzw. der Binnenalster: alles war binnen weniger Minuten über meist schöne Wege abseits der Hauptverkehrsstraßen zu Fuß erreichbar. Gefrühstückt haben wir gut und preiswert bei einer der umliegenden Filialen der Schanzenbäckerei und sind dann gleich von dort aus weiter auf Stadterkundung gegangen. Als Berliner haben wir die saubere und gepflegte Innenstadt sehr genossen. Unser Auto hatte Pause (in der Contipark-Tiefgarage, 18 EUR pro Tag mit PCard)..

Wenn wir wieder nach Hamburg reisen, würden wir hier gern wieder übernachten.

Classy and Comfortable
Pros:

Everything. The Comfort Suites are wonderful especially the ones looking out over the water. The soundproofing is a great feature as is the apartment like setup with the kitchen. The decor is beautiful and calming. The location is perfect for getting everywhere in Hamburg.

Tolles Hotel in wunderschönen historischen Gebäude, aber viel zu laut.

Die Lautstärke, die durch die überirdische U-Bahntrasse im 4 Minutentakt verursacht wurde, hat unsere Nachtruhr extrem gestört.
