Rooms were very nice, staff was friendly.
If breakfast is paid then everything should be free. Don't offer extras...
When I arrived they told me I got an "upgrade" which was actualy a big DOWNGRADE. Don't get me wrong.... suite was fantastic BUT, it is located on top of the TUBE, so the room is shaking and noisy every 2 minutes. Crazy and you can't sleep like this. But if you are willing to wait until 1AM you can since the tube stops operating for a few hours.... Anyway , they changed our suite to a regular room, which was smaller but very nice. The only thing bad in this room was an extra bed which was super small like from some shelter, which is not good for a 4star hotel.

Beds very comfy,very clean everywhere and very pleasant staff.
Bar closed early, came back from the theatre and hoped to get one drink.

did not have the same level of service and care as we have come to associate with the Taj.

Overall, we had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed our time at the hotel.
The room was spotless and very comfortable. A special thank you goes to Concierge Jack, who was absolutely exceptional. His warmth, professionalism, and willingness to help made us feel truly welcome and well taken care of throughout our stay. He is a real asset to the hotel.
The breakfast was good, although as an Austrian I would have appreciated a larger selection of fresh vegetables. The stews and similar hot dishes were not quite to my taste. It would also have been lovely to have a homemade cake or tart available, as well as a glass of Prosecco to make the breakfast experience feel a little more special.
The only aspect that left us somewhat disappointed was the pricing. In our opinion, both the room rates and the prices at the bar are quite high for what is offered. A premium price can certainly be justified, but higher prices do not automatically translate into a premium experience. Overall, we felt the value for money could be improved.
There seems to be too much focus on style over substance.

Room (window facing a metal sheet) was not good. In addition, the service was expensive. A couple of water bottles were free supply. We requested one additional water bottle and were asked to pay for it.
