Fantastic customer service. In fact the staff are what make the hotel! LOVED the foot soak brought to our room on our first night in. Luxurious Molton Brown bath products. Ample cupboard space! Few metres from St. James Park tube station and a convenience store just next to the hotel.
Twin room beds were extremely narrow. Big stain on carpet in the family suite and the couch definitely requires re-upholstering. Drain in bath was clogged so water would fill up around your feet while bathing. There were dead pigeons trapped in wire mesh right outside our window but the issue was dealt with after we brought it to the attention of the staff and an apology card with a bottle of wine left in our room which was a nice touch and appreciated. Breakfast was not up to the standard expected of the Taj. In my opinion, the management have not gone for good quality items as far as the ham and croissants go just to give an example. There was only natural yogurt with no other selection and the paratha was inedible. Also, I definitely think the hotel should introduce a dress code for dining areas … no pyjamas should be allowed in the breakfast room … my god this is the Taj there should be some standards !!! Also, the rooms are not sound proof at all! Could hear next door arguments and TV quite loud.
All the hotel staff were so professional and friendly. It is so clear that this hotel group places the delivery of exceptional customer service at the forefront of their delivery. Unfortunately, now a lot of hotel chains are going in the opposite direction. We were so impressed we have already booked our stay with Taj on our next London trip. Brilliant hotel
friendly staff, very helpful. the room was ok ,quite big, the bathroom relatively small but ok. clean. good location.
The breakfast is not fantastic, but you do have options, however the breakfast room is quite small for the size of hotel and you might have to wait 15-20 min for a table during busy times.
Room was large and clean. Every thing was really good. Above expectations.
