Wonderful hospitality in central London
Pros:

The hospitality from all staff was exceptional from start to finish. We received an upgrade to a 2 bedroom apartment which made it extremely convenient for us. We tried all 4 restaurants and found the food and ambience to be just perfect. The location was so central as well.

Stunning hotel in a central convenient location, with incredible friendly staff who excel in the best of hospitality
Pros:

Very central location to all major sites, incredible hospitality, all staff were super helpful and kind, they offered an upgrade to the suites which was so nice. We went to all 3 restaurants which were absolutely delicious.

A great lovation, excellent restaurants, a little tired

The rooms are a bit tired - the small living room was very outdated and cluttered - if it was mine, I would be embarrassed by its appearance, not inviting in any way. The main bar shits at 11pm - in the centre of London?

The Taj provided a wonderful and comfortable 3 night stay in a suite
Pros:

We booked two rooms as we had a 7month old with us and the night before arrival we were offered an opportunity to upgrade to a suite - at a cost. We accepted the offer and were not disappointed, the suite layout was fabulous for our needs, two small but adequate double bedrooms, a splendid lounge area, a fully stocked kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine and fridge, one en-suite bathroom and one bathroom off the main entrance hall, the suite came with a priority check-in. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and great quality linen. We could not have received better service from all the staff who were exceptional and went above and beyond to help us and make sure we were enjoying our three night stay. We truly thank them all. We know the area well and the location and hotel facilities were great, unfortunately we did not use the Spa which we had free access to.

Cons:

The suite was tired and would benefit from some TLC. You could not open the fridge and the corner under sink cupboard without the fridge door jamming. Slightly irritating and we shared this with reception on departure as constructive feedback. I felt this affected the overall value and prevented the WOW factor.
