Great stay
Pros:

Hotel was great! Lots of nice amenities. Staff was friendly and helpful, Especially Tracy our room attendant. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed in the room.

Family weekend in a fancy place
Pros:

Swissotel is a fancy place. Classy atmosphere and clientele. World class restaurant (The Palm) and excellent location with amazing views.
In a place with these types of credentials one may assume that good old fashioned hospitality would be hard to find. So far from the truth! As they say it’s the little things that mean a lot. As a dad seeking to show his family a good time at a nice place and maybe impress them a bit Swissotel did not disappoint. Thank you to all staff we encountered with special thanks going to Obadee Hawkins. For a member of upper management to take time to assist us? It speaks volumes about the hotel. See you again soon!

Excellent choice for families! So much to do nearby and spectacular views
Pros:

Gorgeous views, excellent gym, perfect little bar downstairs. And the location is great for families! There are ton of playgrounds that are walkable and lots of free things to do with young kids.

Cons:

A little welcome guide would have gone a long way. The varying levels in this part of the city can be pretty confusing, and if you have a stroller or mobility issues it can be a challenge to navigate. A Swissotel map would be awesome!

Perfect stay!
Pros:

Excellent location in the very heart of Chicago on the river. Easy walk to Magnificent Mile, Millenium Park, Navy Pier. Very nice rooms, excellent fitness center very well equipped open 24/7

Amazing server and hospitality
Pros:

I visited the bar yesterday and I loved the espresso martini. My server Maria was very kind and attentive to me. She made sure my friends and myself had a fun and memorable evening. Her hospitality was beyond amazing. I had so much fun celebrating my 21st birthday there at the bar. Would definitely be returning soon

Front Desk is great!
Pros:

When I checked in, I forgot my credit card (which is required for incidentals). The front desk concierge, specifically Emina, was accommodating and extremely patient. With managerial approval, he allowed me to check into my room, and fill out a payment authorization form (in lieu of my credit card) from the comfort of my room.

Thank goodness for Emina!

Good location, very busy hotel. Bedroom is comfy with nice view but def an old hotel.
Pros:

Bedroom is spacious and has great view. Location is accessible.

Cons:

The bathroom, there’s some weird odor coming from the shower or the drainage? Parking is ridiculous, you have no choice but to valet. There’s tons of noise from the next door room and we’ve had an issue with the door not opening. We have to call twice for someone to help us and body slammed the door open.

Great stay and even better staff
Pros:

Incredible stay and hotel, completely caught off guard how great this place is. Kia was incredibly helpful and a real delight to speak to this morning, she lit up asking how my stay was and really made me feel like she cared. Stay here, you won’t regret it!
