Las almohadas duras, y los vidrios de las ventanas del balcón sucios, las sábanas tenian olor. El aire acondicionado por enfriaba.

We left before breakfast and they gave us a breakfast bag to go, perfect!

Breakfast and staff there were excellent. We booked 20 mins before turning up so we're in annexe. Room was clean, a/c was good and everyone was friendly.

I hated the fact that we couldnt access the beach. It states 'opposite the beach' on the website, but I was not prepared to pay 27 euros to to merely go and have a swim. I had no desire to sit on the beach - the temperature was 39 degrees. but felt it was very misleading - and indeed inaccurate- to say there was a beach

La colazione era meravigliosa, non manca nulla, dolce salato, caffetteria da bar con servizio al tavolo con possibilità di avere frullato, porridge, insomma non manca nulla ed è sulla passeggiata di Viareggio comoda per qualsiasi spostamento, garage a pagamento di cui ho usufruito vista la zona centrale.Complimenti ai receptionist cordialissimi e alle addette alle camere che facevano passaggi tardo pomeriggio a chiedere se servisse qualcosa.Ristorante hotel super

Siamo arrivati il giorno 10 agosto, avevamo prenotato una stanza nella depandance dell’albergo, ci hanno assegnato la camera 106, al terzo piano senza ascensore, per un totale di 53 gradini. Nella prima descrizione della camera non viene evidenziato che sia senza ascensore solo all’interno della descrizione della camera lo dice, quindi per un 4 stelle mi sembra un po superficiale, ci sistemiamo nella camera e iniziano le avventure, gli asciugamani che venivano buttati in terra venivano ripiegati e rimessi negli appositi spazzi senza essere cambiati, il letto non è mai stato cambiato le lenzuola, la pulizia lascia molto a desiderare, in camera c’erano dei fancoil per il condizionamento sporchi e praticamente a pezzi che facevano rumore. Il terzo giorno siamo rientrati alle 14 in camera e i letti ancora non erano stati fatti, abbiamo chiamato dicendo che avremmo riposato fino alle 16 e sono comunque venuti due volte ad aprire la porta per rifare la camera. La colazione abbondante ma con prodotti scadenti succhi di frutta che sanno di integratori, cornetti surgelati, bibite calde che lasciano a desiderare. Non mi sono mai permesso di fare recensioni così brutte, ma per lavoro giro molti alberghi e non mi sono mai ritrovato ad un trattamento del genere. Sicuramente suggerirei una revisione delle stelle da parte dell’ente competente perché non basta avere le basi richieste per essere un buon albergo ma bisogna anche saper accogliere le persone nel modo più professionale possibile.

Ottimo il servizio in camera.
Camera con vista mare strepitosa, abbiamo goduto dell'eclissi da una posizione privilegiata.

Cons:

Il bar aperto solo dalle 17, tenuto conto che non c'è nemmeno il ristorante aperto a pranzo.

In short: a disaster. Here is my review of our stay at Hotel Sina Astor in Viareggio from August 5–9, 2026:

Never again

We checked into Hotel Sina Astor. We were assigned a room on the first floor and were told no other rooms were available.

The room was terrible and certainly not worth 4 stars. Dirty walls, floors covered in scuff marks from luggage, a tiny balcony, an outdated bathroom, and all the wooden elements—the bed, the doorframes—showed severe signs of wear and tear. A disaster that wasn't worth even half of the €281. My wife went to the front desk to complain about the room's condition. Apparently, this was nothing new to Alessandro, as he quickly offered a replacement room: a Junior Suite on the 5th floor.

This room was spacious with a somewhat renovated bathroom. However, on the balcony—the floor of which was covered in dirt—stood a table with a rusty frame, seemingly uncleaned for a long time. The wardrobe door couldn't be opened because the sliding track was broken. But at least it was spacious.

The next surprise was the breakfast: the room resembled a cafeteria with cheap tables and chairs, and the selection wasn't even worthy of a 1-star hotel. Only 3 types of yellow cheese, a miserable yogurt selection, a very limited bread choice, and an extremely sparse selection of salads and vegetables lowest quality and tasteless fruits.

In short: completely unworthy of a 4-star hotel. The rudeness of Ms. M. was the final straw. Never again, Sina Astor Hotel.

Rilassante, un posto confortevole e tanta pulizia ovunque e gentilezza.
Pros:

La colazione puoi farla in terrazza con vista mare. Tanta scelta nel cibo. Davvero ottimo e buono. Tutti i prodotti freschi.

La gentilezza e la cortesia di tutto il personale, dalla reception ai camerieri e gli inservienti, nonché la posizione fronte mare. Veramente un'ottima struttura!

Cons:

Magari la mancanza del balcone,ma forse solo perché avendo scelto la camera piccola non era possibile. È comunque stata una carenza superficiale.

As usual a great time in this hotel

Very nicely located, the personnel warm and welcoming. Rooms are spacious and balcony is great. Beautiful view on the sea.

Cons:

Breakfast could be a bit more elaborated (more choices in the menu). Pets are allowed.
