Pros:

The fact that I was able to book a room that had two rooms in it for the price off one and it had a kitchen and a decent fridge as well

Cons:

Wish we had more pillows and the ice machine took to long to make ice. Also wish they had more drinks and stuff in the store there wasnt much to choose from and also on the last day there was a little more to choose from with breakfast but also not everyone eats turkey sausage and wish there was more to choose to from hot food wise and more variety of drinks. Also I wish house keeping was everyday and not every 3 days witch is werid and shouldn't have to ask the front desk for more towels and was cloths and also add a sponge for the sink to wash dishes and more dishwasher detergent one pack ain't enough for 3 days. Also add extra sheets for the pull out bed as well. Also add brooms as well for the kitchen.

Many things in the room didn't work. Lights, dishwasher, ect.
Pros:

It was good for a continental breakfast

Cons:

Considering it was considered a penthouse suite., it sure wasn't up to penthouse standards. Old, time for remodel and way to many things didn't work; lights in one of the bathrooms, microwave light, dishwasher not attached to the counter and not even wired up. Pay for parking...really?!

Residence Inn fine. Booking.com a disappointment.
Pros:

Location was perfect for our needs.

Cons:

Not happy. This is the first time since I have been using Booking.com that I have encountered this problem. The receipt from the hotel is a total of 255.60 which includes 20.00 for parking. My credit card has been charged $273.30 for the room and there are pending charges of $41 by the Residence Inn. This is a discrepancy of $57.70. Please advise as to when we can expect a refund.

Nice rooms, stupid you have to pay for parking
Pros:

Room was comfy and clean.

Cons:

I don’t like that you have to pay $10 a night for parking in a parking lot. I could understand if you had to park in a garage. But a normal lot on the property is ridiculous!

Nice one night stay
Pros:

We stayed one night at the Residence Inn West End. We were in a penthouse suite, in Room 224.

It had 2 queen beds, one being upstairs in the loft. There were 2 bathrooms, one on each level. The bathrooms both had a tub and shower.

There was a full size refrigerator, stove, microwave, and dishwasher. There was no ice when we arrived, so we turned on the ice maker. But then I went to the office to ask where an ice machine was. The answer was there was no ice machine, since the fridge made ice. I said we were thirsty and it would be a while before the ice was made. The solution was to buy a bag of ice for $5.83. If we were staying more than one night, this wouldn’t have been so much of a problem.

There were 3 flat screen TVs in the suite. There was a small ceiling fan.

The office door is locked at night, and the receptionist has to open it for you.

Breakfast is from 6:30 to 9.

There are 10 (I think) buildings with 8 rooms in them. You climb stairs to reach the upper level rooms.

I didn’t notice any cleanliness issues like other older reviews mentioned, so maybe things have changed.

For our one night stay, our suite was acceptable, and we would stay there again (but would bring our own ice).
