The lobby and bar/restaurant are was nice. The rooms were definitely lacking. Very plane and could use an update to match the money put into the lobby/restaurant. Good view of Diamond Head from the street facing rooms. Location was in a quieter park beach area and the walk to the shops and Waikiki area was not bad.
They basically charge you 55 dollars a night to park in their own lot because it is is valet only and there aren't many good free spots on the street to park. Rooms were kinda basic and could use update. The tvs looked like the one Michael Scott had on his wall.
Was not worth what they charge.

When we checked into our room, we immediately found that the carpet was soaking wet. Not merely damp. There was a very strong chemical smell throughout the room, which made it clear that the carpet had just been cleaned.
We reported this to the front desk that evening. We were told that the issue would be raised with the manager and that someone would contact us to resolve it. Nobody called our room. As it was already late, we had little choice but to go to bed in the room with the wet carpet and strong chemical smell.
The following morning, the carpet was still soaking wet, so we raised the issue again with a different member of the front desk team. We explained that we would be going out and left our cell phone number with the front desk, specifically so that the manager could contact us. Once again, we were told the matter would be escalated and that someone would call us. Again, nobody contacted us.
When we returned later that day, we discovered that someone had entered the room to clean and had evidently found the carpet still soaking wet. They placed towels all over the wet carpet. This was extremely disappointing and did nothing to actually resolve the problem!!
What was most frustrating was not simply that the carpet was wet but also there was the complete lack of follow-through. We reported the problem twice, were repeatedly told that a manager would contact us, provided our phone number, and yet nobody ever contacted us, offered us another room, provided a meaningful solution, or offered any compensation. It was a terrible stay - we asked for a room overlooking the ocean but shouldnt have bothered paying the premium for this as we had to spend the night in a room with a soaking-wet carpet and strong chemical smell, with the problem still unresolved throughout our stay.
location/beach access
the location, views, and beach access are terrific. all the staff were lovely and helpful. the restaurant, cafe, and corner store are a good vibe with a nice selection and availability. check in and checkout was easy. street parking was not bad at all.
i’m not a fan of carpets esp with the ocean air and dampness but a/c helped keep the room dry

It was quiet! Waikiki was very close, but the area the hotel is in is quiet. Also, sits on a beautiful beach.
Tour companies wouldn’t pick us up there, we had to take a 5 minute uber ride to a hotel in Waikiki.

Loved that it was right on the beach, no road to cross, just straight out of the hotel onto the beach.
Nice relaxed vibe, friendly staff, nice restaurant on site and loved the morning take away options from Sunset Provisions (great banana bread).
Nice quiet hotel, didn’t get disturbed at all during the day or night and easy walking distance to the main Waikiki strip.
Nothing to dislike
Fruehstueck nicht inbegriffen. Kein gym und keine Kaffeemaschine im Zimmer. Die ganze anlage sehr ansprechend, die zimmer hinreissend im design. Allerdings könnte man fuer den Preis ein gym und eine Kaffeemaschine erwarten. Pluspunkt: Fantastischer Strand direkt am Hotel
