Das Hotel hat einen eigenen Strand. Bedenken sollte man aber das im April/ Mai eine Mönchsrobbe dort ihr Junges bekommt und der Strand dann gesperrt ist.
Die Zimmer sollten ein wenig renoviert werden. Die Gegend um Waikiki ist sehr teuer und deswegen ist auch Frühstück und Dinner teuer. Zimmer war recht klein.
Tolle Lage für Waikiki, das Barefoot Beach Café in der Nähe ein Traum, schönes Zimmer mit sehr schönem Ausblick, gute Ausstattung, freundliches Personal, tolle Lobby mit schönem Restaurant (was leider immer ausgebucht war), direkter Strandzugang.
Das Restaurant könnte Plätze für Hotelgäste vorbehalten, damit man eine Chance hat, dort zu essen. Parken ist mit 55$ pro Tag ein Wucher, zumal man für 5$ pro Tag einfach auf der Straße stehen kann.
Close to the beach, had its own salon, coffee shop and local store on site staff were friendly and considerate. Great location for long walks and sightseeing
Unfortunately the beach was closed but understandably due to wild life on the beach.
The view was wonderful. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the sheets were crisp.
Room was a tad small and for the price of the room I would have expected a bathrobe and slippers, there was not a full length mirror and the light cans were flickering.
I rarely take the time to leave reviews, but my experience tonight was nothing short of amazing. My wait wasn’t long, the strip loin I ordered was wonderful, the burrata toast was savory, and the drinks were amazing. Rob, our waiter, was excellent and extremely attentive and made my anniversary feel incredible. Not only was he very polite and attentive, but truly made our experience one of a kind and pieced everything together. They also played some of my favorite music. Definitely a recommended spot for dinner. Thank you Rob was making this dine in a staple in my Hawaii trip.
Rooms are small and in desperate need of upgrades. The hotel charges a resort fee that is supposed to include bikes but we were told that they would reimburse us for the cost of a biki. There weren’t enough beach chairs for us to use either.
I get a resort fee when there is actual amenities but they don’t have a pool or anything that could begin to justify a $40 resort fee
The location is excellent. It is by its own beach and it is a short walk to Waikiki Beach and downtown Waikiki shopping. Great view from the room with a couple large panoramic windows.
Very busy, only parking was $55 a day valet. Three star room at five star prices. No microwave or coffee maker in room and no courtesy coffee in lobby. Very expensive (and below average food) restaurant off lobby only place to get coffee. Hotel lets you borrow a towel, but no fins/snorkels or other gear and it is half a mile walk down beach to rent them (for exorbitant prices). Bathroom was a standard 3-star with a tub shower and sink.

Wonderful view! What an amazing anniversary dinner experience. We were blown away by the above and beyond genuine hospitality we received from Robert, our server at Hau Tree.
Drinks and food were delicious and our server Ella was exceptional
