Would never want to go back, front staff seemed miserable

I tried asking a few questions at check in was given no real information answer we sort and as in one word answers seem like she was upset I was asking. We stayed because of the pool and ate dinner in the restaurant down stairs my kids ask the front counter what time the pool closed they replied with 11pm. After dinner we went downstairs to swim asking where the pool was and she look at us and said it was closed for renovations but we could use the Marriott’s pool. This was weird because we just asked 30 min ago and the same person said it was open till 11pm. We asked how far the Marriott was and if it’s in walking distance and she said was you would freeze then look at her computer. We got an ubar and took the kids swimming. Staff at the Marriott was super friendly and accommodating. We went to the pool area the next day and it look like no renovation are being done it was just drained.

Pros:

We loved our view and the place was pretty clean. Would definitely stay again.

Cons:

My partner and I got woken up by a staff member walking into our room without knocking. We were both sleeping.

Our room also didn't have a working tv and neither of the hotel room phones worked. We even requested for maintenance to come take a look but nobody showed up.

There were some ups and downs but for the most part it was good.
Pros:

The location was ideal. The beds were the most comfortable ever! The employees were excellent. The food was good.

Cons:

We were told we'd have a bathtub, pool & hot tub but that wasn't true. There seemed to be not enough employees. Wall signs, website etc. need to be updated to be more accurate.

Pros:

The breakfast was on scale of free truck stop hotel. Very disappointed.

Cons:

The hotel is filthy. No cleaning appears to be done. Trash in elevators. Trash in halls. Really bad.
