The room although very spacious was just little dated and had not USP charging ports which did cause my quite an issue as in 2026 this is very much a given expectation . If not for those issue I would have given 10 out 10 from value for money point of view . Finally a special mention to both the check in and check out staff who where absolutely superb and huge difference to the other hotel in Aberdeen I usually stayed in , that alone means the Copthorne will be my preferred option now and going forward.
No USP port in the rooms , this did cause me an issue and shame as all other aspects where very good .

Lovely clean updated hotel. Close to parking in a good location.
The room was too hot so never got a good sleep. Bottles of water in room would have been good.
So impressed with this hotel, will stay again!

Breakfast wasnt early enough, but i understand i probably could have ordered something for the morning in a packup.
Beds are large and comfortable, showers great pressure and food was very good. The location is quiet but very central . Staff are helpful and polite and with our rooms we got free drink vouchers.
The window is rather small for size of room and the blinds are heavy Venetian ….good for blocking light in early morning but the cords were broken and it was hard to get them raised and locked up. Rooms have no temp control so it was quite hot in the nice weather we had but there was a fan which was ideal. During dinner first night the kitchen closed and we weren’t able to have a dessert but nobody warned us beforehand.
