Friendly welcoming staff, good food and comfy facilities. Fair sized room for an individual and very quiet for being a Friday night.

Very clean and comfortable room.
Clean and modern, everything worked as it should. Staff welcoming, engaging and informative. Room was spacious, bright and comfortable. Bed was brilliant and firm without being hard...good night sleep was had. Breakfast was more than adequate with good choice of cereals, fruit, cheeses & cold meats, cooked items and drinks. While the hotel was busy we never felt like we were ignored, and nothing was ever too much trouble for the staff
The TV! Ok, so the hotel has many international visitors and they want to cater for their tastes and make them feel at home. But the number of channels was overwhelming - hundreds, for sure. But could we find the normal UK terrestrial networks like BBC or ITV to get some news? Nope. But we could get it for France, US, Middle East, etc in fact we were spoilt for choice. And endless kids channels, reality TV, trashy American dramas and how to create your dream home. It really was a disappointment that we could not get basic TV channels we get at home. And as for Scottish focussed content...forget it.

The doors are very heavy so it is impossible not to be startled by people leaving their room. The doors slam very loudly at all times if the morning and night. We had a late check out for a lie in but the cleaner in the room next door was bashing the hoover off the wall from 7:30/8am
