Pros:

We called on our way down to see if we could checkin early and they were very accommodating to let us come in early Remi was who we spoke to and then happened to be the one to check us in and remember us calling. Her smile was contagious so friendly and fun. I explained my husband surprised me last minute for my birthday to come to new orleans for krewe boo parade. The hotel gives me with a Person of the gift it was truly an amazing exprience and one I will remember. I highly recommend staying when you can.

1st timer to NOLA
Pros:

We loved the location on the river, near the paddle wheel boats, outlets and walking distance to many places.

The breakfast buffet was top notch and the service was incredible! Drago's was the real reason we stayed at the Hilton and it exceeded my expectations.

Cons:

I didn't care for the pillows. They are great (I believe feather) pillows which I normally love but they went flat soon after laying my head down. I just doubled it over and it worked better.

Close to the superdome, elegant appearance inside.
Pros:

The facility is beautiful.

Cons:

The staff was friendly, but not outgoing. The cleaners removed a bag of trash from the room across the hall from me that smelled like vomit(I'm sure it was, being New Orleans) and left it in the hallway for several minutes, enough I passed it three times while hauling my luggage.
Parking is egregious. The garage is so low my stock pickup nearly scraped the ceiling and sprinklers, there was an additional cost to park, PLUS another charge which was never mentioned prior to booking or explained.

Only good location
Cons:

My room was located near the elevator and was very noisy. As a Hilton Honors member, I was disappointed that no additional benefits or compensation were offered to address the inconvenience.

Pros:

Great bedroom and beds cozy and comfy. The hotel was a lot more classy than I thought.
Greatest breakfast in 6 hotel trip was here. The omelet so good.

Not happy with parking price and $30 a day surcharge will never stay there again and tell all my friends about the unexp
Cons:

$50 a night parking
$30 a day surcharge all unexpected when I book a room I want the totals charge upfront. These surprises can bust your budget for a vacation.

Nice property but staff is not aligned
Pros:

The hotel room was decent. It was clean.

Cons:

The room didn't have a microwave. After confirmation that my parking was paid and good to go by two separate front desk clerks, we received a call on the morning of check out about a parking fee that was due. They cut off our card in and out of the garage prior to 11 AM. So we were ultimately held hostage until a nice lady let us out because you can't deny us access in or out prior to check out time.
