First time visit to Pittsburgh has been a great experience
Pros:

Breakfast buffet had great selection and was delicious. Janet gave excellent service and a pleasure to talk to.

Pros:

I loved the location and the views from the hotel. The pool and hot tub was nice. The views from the rooms were very nice and even had a nice view from the pool area.

Cons:

The room needs to be updated but I can tell from the floor that the pool was on that renovations were happening just hasn't got to the 14th floor yet. The rooms only had a fridge the microwave was in the lobby.

Surprisingly Disappointing
Pros:

Room is very disappointing. Dingy, dirty and outdated. Wallpaper falling off walls. Pieces of crown molding mismatched and plain missing in other places. Curtains are off the track and won’t open properly which isn’t that big of a deal because my view is a roof. Drawers and cabinet doors don’t shut properly because they are just so old and shower is stained and dirty. I was told upon check in that they clean every 3 days. Guess I’m out of luck…. I’m here for 2.
It’s a very depressing room and what is really disappointing is I am paying over $250 a night. I will not stay here again and recommend that you don’t either.

We arrived in pouring rain. Valet parking was full. I had to go to a public garage across the street and up a block and walk through the rain. I didn't love that.
The "lounge" off the lobby - the staff was rude, like really rude. I don't normally complain about things like this but when you're trying to get a menu and they take over 10 mins to even acknowledge you, that's not cool. We got up and left.
