The breakfast was great . The Staff were a delight to chat to first thing in the morning . I can’t remember their names . But they always chatted , and keen help with the surrounding area
The rooms were dated , but the bed was clean and the shower worked . I was only in the room for mr sleeping

I read a lot of reviews on this hotel saying it was dated and not great . However I must say the rooms are a bit dated , but have clean beds, good sized room and in a perfect location to explore downtown Pittsburgh. For me the bed was really comfy , and the shower was great .
At breakfast the hosts are very attentive, and if you have any questions on what to do they will stand and chat . Breakfast was very good , as it was cooked to order rather than a buffet style . My compliments to the chef . Thanks also to the waitresses and waiters , I forget your names (Sorry) you made my stay enjoyable . Hopefully see you soon , or next year much appreciated. Clean, large, and comfortable rooms in a great location in Pittsburgh. Wonderful views of the city and a walkable location. The health club was fully furnished with plenty of cardio and weights. poool was small. The staff were friendly and helpful. Best beds!
We were so happy with our stay! The front desk staff at check-in (I don't know her name) switched our room from a king to a double queen (at our request) and we had a top floor room with a river view which was amazing! The location of the hotel is the absolute best in the city! The valet and luggage bellman were super attentive and responsive. We called to request extra coffee and the bellman who brought it to the room was very personable, even singing when we opened the door, lol. The bartender in the lounge gave us valuable info about the incline to get to Mt. Washington. Vanessa and Charmaine were terrific, with Charmaine giving us a voucher for breakfast which was so appreciated! The buffet was abundant with delicious choices.

I can not say enough great things about this hotel and its staff, we came back to stay for the second year because the staff are extremely friendly, helpful and make it their goal to make sure ur enjoying your stay. Shout out to Charlie at the front desk, and Hayden, i believe he's in maintenance. Charlie's patience and kindness in the middle of our crisis helped keep everyones trip from being a complete disaster. And Hayden was my son's favorite, he always has the biggest smile making sure the kids are having fun. They all do a spectacular job daily to make sure everyone is taken care of.
The room was spacious, the location was great, the bedding was clean and comfortable. The view of the ocean makes the trip worth it every time. The breakfast staff and food are excellent!
Not sure if the hotel bartenders are actually a part of the Wyndam, but our bartender the last evening (7/30/2026) of our stay was very unpleasant. We have always enjoyed our meals at the Wyndam, but her customer service was very poor.
