Residence Inn by Marriott Virginia Beach Town Center

Our family was traveling to the area for our annual beach vacation. We like to arrive a day early and stay in the area for a night. The suite rooms here were excellent. Having the kitchen area was great as we have young children. The rooms were clean and our request for two adjoining rooms was fulfilled. We booked through a third-party site and there was an issue with the charge for the rooms. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. They helped us resolve the issue quickly. Breakfast was very good as well. We are planning on staying here again for our trip next year!

The building is located in a very convenient location. The staff is very courteous and helpful. The breakfast was great. Very clean and cared for building. Nice pool, a cozy little gym. Overall a pretty great inn.

Auf unsere Amerika 🇺🇸 Rundreise haben wir mittlerweile schon viele Hotels/ Motels gehabt, aber dieses hier war bisher das beste in jeder Hinsicht. Top Zimmer, geräumig, großzügig mit nahezu voll ausgestatteter Küche sowie perfekten Badezimmer. Pool & Fitnessbereich sahen sehr gut aus, leider waren wir zu kurz da, um es zu nutzen. Besonders gut für US Verhältnisse muss man noch das Frühstück und das sehr zuvorkommende sowie motivierte Personal erwähnen.

The room and overall property is clean and appears well maintained. However, the bathroom door didn’t close properly. Also, there seems to be a technical issue with TVs glitching because I experienced the same issue when they moved me to another room for the same reason. Additionally I wasn’t happy about the “green” housekeeping policy - they only clean rooms every other day. It was an inconvenience for us, but they at least offered to bring by clean towels upon request.

The atmosphere was very sterile -- everything was brown and white with absolutely no artwork in our room. The breakfast was fine, but the kitchen help never interacted with the guests. No smile or good morning or anything. The front desk was great -- very friendly and helpful. The toilet ran all night keeping up awake; however, as soon as someone was available in the morning, it was repaired. I would not stay here again as I prefer an uplifting ambiance! Residence Inns have always been my favorite. What a shame!

My two daughters and their families live in Virginia Beach and we go down quite a bit to visit them, on our most recent trip to celebrate my grandson's 3rd birthday, we stayed once again at the Residence Inn by Marriott. This has become our go to hotel when we visit Virginia Beach. The hotel is well maintained, the staff is friendly and professional. The rooms are spacious, well appointed and clean. The location is very convenient with proximity to numerous dining and entertainment venues. We look forward to future visits and stays at this great hotel.

The room was comfortable, free parking. But this is another case where Marriott does not take housekeeping serious. No housekeeping during my entire stay. They just blow it off when you tell them and offer to replace your towels. Also, no coffee or water or any other refreshments in the lobby or public space. These are common amenities that this hotel fails to provide. When you ask about coffee, they've obviously gotten this question hundreds of times because they say, then look down, not outside of breakfast hours. Marriott service continues to be inconsistent across the brand.
