Had a great first impression at this Sheraton that slowly started unraveling over the following week. We were the randomly selected guest on the day who got a free suite upgrade, so I immediately felt great, especially being put up on the 18th floor. The bed was comfortable, and the room kept us warm from below-freezing temperatures. Then the cockroaches started appearing. I squished multiple roaches over the course of a week. Again, we were up on the 18th floor, so they weren't just crawling in from the street to escape the cold. They've been living in these walls for a long time if they're that high up in significant numbers. Housekeeping hours were also confusing and inconsistent. They only came one of the days we kept the Do Not Disturb signs off, and didn't arrive until close to 5pm. I would probably think more negatively about this hotel if we didn't score that suite upgrade.
It was downtown
The parking was horrible..
The room was very dusty and surfaces were not clean..
Be prepared for an additional $585 per night because they’ll claim their vape sensors went off. If it happened to me- and I’ve never touched a vape in my life- I promise it will happen to you as well. Then you’ll spend all afternoon trying to get ahold of the manage who will claim her name is Turquiose- only to be told they can’t reverse the charges. Here’s to hoping my credit card will defend me.
Food was good
We had a sofa bed and they wouldn’t provide bedding said they were “all out”. The pool is very tiny and crowded at all times. Took an hour to get car out of valet.
Proximity and it was quiet on my floor
It wasn’t really clean and it needs to be updated especially around the pool
We came for a conference and Westley took care of us in the lounge every morning. Always so kind, friendly, professional and looked so sharp! He also gave us great tips for food and entertainment in the city!
The roof top pool and scenery of the downtown monument. That is the only things.
Maintenance never came and fixed our phone in room that wasn't working, the floor was soaked next to the beds, the hotel did not honor the free breakfast that was included in my booking.com reservation, we waited 30 mins for someone to bring us dry towels after swimming on a cloudy day, the parking ramp to the hotel was down for renovations so we had to pay for separate parking and walk two blocks, we were not allowed to bring drinks back to our hotel from the restaurant. It was the worst hotel stay I have ever had.
The staff was great.
The parking garage was closed for repairs.
The pool was small and cloudy for a hotel of this size.
The Valet is terrible!! at least 45 minutes to bring back vehicles. Even over an hour at one instance.
When front desk I approached while waiting "Whitney" she stated talk to valet. If over 30 minutes parking would be deducted. Speak with Valet Manager of course they were off on a Sunday morning check out. The valet company did send someone over from a different property to help. He quickly stated I am going to get this car. I never seen him return? Also when called today to front desk valet manager off today too! The individual who was on the phone hung up on me when I asked for someone else. Apparently nobody at this property cares.
It was conveniently located to the city and convention center. Staff was very friendly and able to answer all my questions. The breakfast buffet was top tier and loved having Starbucks coffee right in the lobby.
I do not usually stay in what I would call “fancy” hotels. This hotel gave off “fancy” all the way until I got into my room which looked like a regular hotel I would normally stay at which was slightly disappointing.
The view of the center square
The first room they gave me was not clean. There was hair from a shaved face still on the towels hanging in the restroom and the trashcan still had trash in it. The front desk lady made it right. Then the following day they tried to charge my card and additional $500 for "smoking" and I dont smoke! Come to find out that hairspray can set it off. So be prepared for that. Mandatory vallet parking was also ridiculously expensive.
Nice hotel good location. Rooms could use a refresh. The gym and executive lounge were the highlights of the hotel. Wes is the executive lounge was always inviting, polite, considerate and made the morning breakfast and afternoon appetizers enjoyable to make want to return each day. Alex at the bar in Alexander’s was an absolute pleasure!!!! She invited us with such enthusiasm and great drinks. Both Wes and Alex made our stay for the week an absolute joy. Kudos to great staff.
The pool. The ease of the location. Room size and comfortable beds
Womens restroom in pool house. Lights need attention. Auto light goes off after about 30 seconds leaving user in the dark in the restroom
The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and in a great downtown location. The staff was friendly and professional, and the room was spacious with a comfortable bed. Everything was within walking distance, making it easy to enjoy the city. Overall, we had a great stay.
The parking fee was a little expensive, but everything else met our expectations.
Stayed here for daughter’s volleyball tournament. The rooms were standard, the location was great.
But what really stood out was the breakfast spread and evening snacks in the lounge put on by Wes who really made the stay special!
