Nice Hotel in the University Area
Pros:

The hotel is centrally located to the UF campus and the Gainesville area in general. The rooms were a good size, with a nice bathroom and comfortable bed. The breakfast was well maintained and clean. We will be back for many UF events!

Cons:

Everything met our expectations! This hotel was pretty much exactly what I would expect from the Hampton Inn line of hotels. Nothing extraordinary, but clean and well maintained, and met our needs!

We like the hotel and it's location.
Pros:

We enjoyed the breakfast and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the fresh fruit bowl at check-in and the hot cookies at night.

Cons:

We were trying to watch the US Open golf championship on NBC, but that station was not available in our room. There was a pet odor in our room and we think it came from either the vacuum cleaner filter or the air conditioning filter. The shower door would not stay closed and the drain was slow.

A true home away from home
Pros:

Location was perfect for our reason being in Gainesville. Breakfast was wonderful with a great selection of options. A special shoutout to Jennyann who always took time to have a conversation with us and make us feel more like acquaintances than guests. Staff made eye contact and spoke each contact. All the facilities were clean and the room was carefully cleaned prior to our arrival.

Honestly we were so pleased with this experience that we had nothing we were not happy with
