Highly recommend! Excellent hotel.
Pros:

Very convenient location. Check in easy and the desk agents were fantastic! They had one level-2 charger and it was nice to plug in my hybrid car. The breakfast was excellent and the bathroom facilities actually were safe and user friendly. (We stayed in a Hampton Inn in Carbondale, IL that had a bathtub that was slippery and didn't have a level surface to stand on, definitely a fall risk. So this was a nice change here.)

Cons:

Not a thing. This is how hotels are supposed to be outfitted and run!

With attention to detail, would be a great place to stay.
Pros:

The lobby and room were fresh, neat and clean. The employees at the front desk and breakfast buffet were responsive and pleasant.

Cons:

Our shower did not drain. A 5 min shower resulted in half a tub of water that took 10 min to drain. Given we showered just before bedtime, we didn’t want to change rooms for one night. Also, our first towel in the stack was totally damp but folded.

Pros:

Bed, especially the pillows were extremely comfortable. Bathroom was nice, water pressure great, gym was good.

Cons:

Breakfast area could use some rethinking. Open up a wall or change the layout to accommodate people standing around

Hydraulic elevator would not level with the floor, hair in the bathroom that was not cleaned up or vacuumed.

Great place, just not affordable during an event
Pros:

Very nice, quiet place.

Cons:

How they jack up the prices because there is an event ( Gaternationals) going on. Normally, this place is almost a $100 per night cheaper.

The front desk receptionist, Miss Robin needs the employee of the year
Pros:

The lady at the front desk, Miss Robin was an excellent, very kind, professional and understanding employee if we had more people like her the world would be a better place. I do hope that you all reward your employees for the great work. She was an excellent person. I would recommend everyone to stay at this hotel once again I want to thank you Miss Robin for making my stay in my trip a very comfortable stay you are the best

Comfort, Warmth, and Familiar Faces
Pros:

I’ve stayed at Hampton Inn Gainesville, 4225 SW 40th Blvd, for the past couple of months while traveling on business. As someone who travels the world frequently, being away from home and family can get tiring. This Hampton truly felt like a home away from home.

What makes the difference is the people. Kathy and her team — Xavier, Joseph, the kitchen staff, housekeeping, the engineer Ishwany, and everyone else — run the place with such genuine warmth and care that it almost makes checking out difficult (in the best, humorous way).

The hotel is also wonderfully located, close to great food options, shops, and malls, which makes longer stays very convenient. I leave with many good memories and real gratitude.

Thank you to everyone who made my stay so comfortable and welcoming.
