Terrible stay! We checked out the next day.
Pros:

I simply cannot believe that this hotel is considered a four star hotel on Expedia.
The room that my son and I were booked at looks like it has not been mortal since the 1990s furniture was broken down. There was a shock hazard/electrical wire hanging out from underneath the AC. The patio door does not lock at all. There were ants on the bed and a fly in the toilet, the door handle to the bathroom door was sticky. I honestly don’t know where to start with how bad this experience was for us however, let me just say that the staff was very lovely and nice and tried their best to make a good situation out of it. I cannot believe that this is actually a licensed Hilton hotel, if Hilton were to send their own inspectors here I think they would pull their license immediately. The owners of this franchise simply do not want to invest any money in this place and it is literally falling apart. Please see the pictures they’ll speak for themselves. And it’s not because it’s located in the bad area on the contrary, it is actually located in a very nice area and in the heart of Williamsburg where there a lot of nice decent hotels. bottom line is there’s no justification for allowing this place to fall apart and become as rundown as it is. They are making a lot of money being next to Busch Gardens, and refuse to reinvest any of it into the hotel itself.

Nice place that needs a bit of attention to receive very good rating.
Pros:

Facility had beautiful common spaces. Very convenience to Colonial Williamsburg.

Cons:

Toilet in our room cycled off and on throughout the night. Also, beds were poor, since they were too soft. Did not result in a relaxing sleep. Please invest in new ones!

Cons:

Bathroom. No room to move. Took forever for the hot water to come up. Bathtub floor had no anti slip provision! No microwave in the room.

Poor! My spouse & I are in our 70's, and we were afraid everytime we used the shower!
Cons:

Booked a handicap access room, but did not get it. I complained at checkout, and the manager promised to look into it and get back with me. OF COURSE, HE NEVER DID!!!

Doubletree Williamsburg, hotel check-in
Pros:

We checked in late last night to the Doubletree here in Williamsburg and the attendant at the front desk who registered us, Vaden, was so helpful in getting us taken care of and was a great conversationalist. We also watched him interact with a DoorDash employee and he handled the situation extremely well in explaining the hotel policies and DoorDash deliveries. So Vaden made us feel welcome and took care of our needs.

Staff was fantastic and very professional
Pros:

Everything was good, there was an adjacent room to me with loud people in there partying late at night, that was the only issue.

Nothing, consider adding exterior outlets to charge boat batteries

It was extremely disappointing.
Pros:

The room itself was very clean and comfortable.

Cons:

The pool was cloudy and there was mold growing in the standing water around the edge. The other patrons were extremely loud and you could hear everything all night long.
