Een hele fijne relaxte vakantie in rustige accommodatie
Pros:

Het is een heel rustig en relaxte accommodatie, met heerlijke ligbedden bij het zwembad. De service van Keith van de bar bij het zwembad was ook uitstekend voor drankjes en lunch. We namen altijd een taxi naar Tropea voor het avondeten want er is geen restaurant in hotel zelf. Francesca en haar collega's waren uiterst vriendelijk en regelden dit graag voor ons. Overigens is het restaurant Casa Romano in Tropea die bij het hotel hoort wel een echte aanrader en behoort ongetwijfeld tot de betere van de stad!

Cons:

Het zwembad gaat pas om 10.00 uur 's ochtends open en soms blijft het bord "closed" ook wel wat langer staan, dat had van ons wel wat vroeger gemogen. Er is geen barretje of terras om 's avonds na terugkomst uit Tropea nog even een afzakkertje te pakken. Hiervoor ben je aangewezen op de minibar op de kamer, waar we vervolgens de bij Keith ingeslagen wijn wel in kwijt konden om op het balkon nog even na te genieten.

Pros:

Zdecydowanie najbardziej podobał nam się hotel i infrastruktura wokół, piękny basen miejsca do spędzania czasu poza pokojem.

Pros:

Piscina, atendente do bar sempre gentil, e café da manhã. Simples porém gostoso!

Cons:

O Check in foi o pior. Uma pessoa só na recepção, que teve que receber vários hóspedes no momento. Levamos quase duas horas pra entrar no quarto.

O quarto é espaçoso, porém banheiro muito mal planejado, se tem alguém tomando banho você não pode usar o vaso sanitário. Pois o mesmo fica dentro do box! A paredes do quarto de drywall, você escuta barulho dos outros quartos!

The swimming pool was lovely.

Cons:

Poor breakfast… Charged extra for pancakes & eggs.
No toilets at the swimming pool.
No bar after 7pm.
No food facilities after 7pm.
Not allowed to bring food/drinks from outside despite the fact the catering facilities poor.
In a peaceful location but constant noise from gardeners/workers daily while trying to relax at the pool.

Whilst a beautiful property, I don’t believe this deserves five stars. More like a four star resort.

Relaxing luxurious stay in the most beautiful surroundings.
Pros:

The hotel grounds were very beautiful and the pool very elegant and there was a really serene atmosphere as it was never crowded. Just lovely birdsong and low level music. The bar/lunch at the pool was great and reasonable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room comfortable and terrace view was perfect. Aircon very good.The breakfast was amazing. Everything home made and huge choice. There was a wonderful beach club we went to called Roccette Club. It was a short cab ride away and 35 Euros for 2 beds and umbrella. Not normally a beach person, especially when the pool was so nice but swimming in the clear turquoise water and view of the cliffs was stunning and well worth a visit. The hotel restaurant Romano in Tropea town was great but highly recommend Terrazza Degli Dei - a restaurant built in the cliffs and the terrace overlooks stunning sunsets - surprisingly really good value too considering it's the best view in Tropea.

Cons:

Didn't like not having a hotel bar available in the evening. so location would be downside. It's really quiet location which was a plus and if you are hiring a car - and don't drink - then its really only a 5 minute drive away. The hotel restaurant is in the town - 15 euro cab ride away - so 30 euros before you've opened a bottle of wine. The pool was cleaned most days and didn't open for swimming until 9-10am which was not great for early birds. Breakfast was 8-11am which is great when you want late breakfast but we got up early every day and wanted cappuccino at 7.30... That's being picky as we had the most amazing relaxing time at this lovely hotel.
