Great service
Female bartender was excellent
Upscale, clean, affordable, friendly, comfortable, great location.
There is nothing negative except it took 2 hours to get an item we left due to housekeeping in a meeting & no one would get our item , even though they had located it.

The staff
We were not given a heads up on the marathon that occurred Sunday morning. Gave me a late start on my trip.
Free breakfast. Bathroom was nice and clean. All rooms are suites.
Many lights burned out in the room. Too dark in my rooms.Front desk staff confused using new software.
The staff was exceptionally accommodating. The rooms were clean and spacious.
Parking. There were no parking spaces available in the parking garage. We had to park in a public parking garage which was across and down the street.
The parking spaces in the hotel parking garage are very compact and the turns are extremely tight. The hotel no longer offers valet parking.
There was no liquid dish washing soap in the kitchen so no way to truly wash your dishes prior to putting them in the automatic dishwasher - or even to clean a dish prior to using it for the first time.
Super Lækkert med god indretning
Musik alle vegne der til sidst bliver en plage
The location was central to a lot of things. The room was clean.
The front desk worker downgraded us from a suite to a regular room, which we paid for IN FULL when we booked. They told us the hotel was overbooked and, like an airline, they could bump us down or even not give us a room. They told us that because we used booking.com, they had no way to give us any kind of money back on the room difference, which was pretty significant. We had booked the suite for the kitchen area because we planned to cook a birthday dinner for my UT freshman, but that got completely thrown out the window. The parking garage cannot accommodate “oversized vehicles” which was nowhere on their information. They attempted to charge us $50 to park out truck in “oversized parking” but they had no spots available. When we attempted to see what the room price difference was online, we realized we had payed a huge amount of money for the day we stayed due to some events going on on campus, and that a regular weekend night was hundreds of dollars less than we paid… for a room we didn’t even get. The other crazy part was the room was fresh as a daisy, but had no furnishings or wall decor. It was like it had been freshly painted and cleaned, but nothing put back. I called and ask for at least a single chair for the room, and front desk said they’d get on it, but it never came. I’m still sick to my stomach knowing how much we spent on this room.
The cleanliness and space
My stay at DoubleTree by Hilton was very disappointing.
Even though I extended my stay by 1 day and paid $350, I couldn’t open my room. When I went down to the front desk, the young staff member couldn’t find my reservation and wasted about an hour of my time. Repeated explanations didn’t help, and I was unnecessarily frustrated. The issue was only resolved after contacting the previous reservation staff.
Additionally, there was no drinking water in the room, which is unacceptable for a hotel at this price. Overall, this stay was far below the expected standard and the staff unnecessarily complicated things.
It was close enough to walk to downtown
The location was easy to get to, like that the property is pet friendly, liked the suite layout
The room was fine, the parking garage was dirty
