Nothing
Under renovation so entrance check in with car did not exist
Staff were great - rooms were a little dated but I understand the hotel is going through a renovation
The location of this hotel is fantastic and is definitely its biggest selling point. The staff were helpful as much as they could.
Unfortunately, the rooms just aren’t what I would expect from a 5-star hotel. I understand the hotel is currently being renovated, but sadly we weren’t allocated one of the upgraded rooms.
Our room felt like a shoebox, and I’m not sure why such a large desk was placed in such a small space. Replacing it with a comfortable sofa would make the room feel much more open and inviting.
If you enjoy a hot shower, you may be disappointed. The water never seemed to get properly hot, although this could be related to the ongoing renovations. We also had issues with the air conditioner. We couldn’t turn it off initially, and once we finally did, we couldn’t get it working again, leaving the room hot and stuffy.
The bed was quite firm, although I understand that’s a matter of personal preference. Another downside was the fridge, which made noise throughout the night and disrupted our sleep.
Overall, the location and staff were excellent, but the room itself fell well short of what we expected from a 5-star hotel. Hopefully, once the renovations are complete, the experience will better match the hotel’s rating.
Nothing
Not there fault but very noisy due to construction.
Better not to open hotel until finished
Great location, clean room with nice view, friendly staff.
Receipt for payment needed a follow up call a few days later and wasn't auto sent as advised at reception desk.
Location. Directly across from Tram Stop
Under gong building works
Not much at all....I was kept awake by noise until 330am in the morning and I had to complain for it to stop and it did not stop
Being kept awake til 330am in the morning...the windows were filthy and there was blood mark in my sheets...i actually qant them to refund my money and the carpets were filthy
The bed was really comfy
The location of the hotel is perfect
The seal around the widow didn't allow it close correctly, which pretty a lot of traffic noise in
Due to the shower not having a screen, water would go all over the bathroom floor. The floor didn't run towards the drain so it just pooled.
location was good, room was clean
staff were rude and not accommodating
Breakfast was yummy, but it would of been nicer if it was more flavour some
Food and coffee could of taste more nice . It reminded me of aeroplane food
Renovations were going on so it was a bit noisy and untidy, but the room and staff were the usual high standard
The lounge area was gone for the renovations. We like to sit there and have coffee, the Collins Bar didnt offer the same level of comfortableness (if that's a word) to have a coffee
The breakfast, staff and location
They didn’t tell me there were renovations and the noise was terrible
The building is agening, not so clean, windows were dirty, asked for extra bed but wasnt provided, they gave the voucher for parking which didnt work.
Staff wasnt so great, parking voucher didnt work
