Disappointing
Pros:

The Hilton is Adelaide is in the middle of a noisy and disruptive renovation which is not clearly stated on booking.com’s website. The jack hammering made for an unpleasant stay. Will not be going back.

Pros:

We stayed overnigth for our 38th wedding anniversary, the Hilton staff were amazing and provided a surprise for us.
Also their breakfast is exceptional.

Cons:

That the jacuzzi is under renovations.

I hope the conditions improve after the renovation

Locations and the buffet breakfast was great!

Cons:

The building was under construction/renovation which hasn’t been communicated with us at the time of booking and even at arrival. Had to carry 2 bags through the steps at building entrance. No lobby area. And the room was in a very fair condition and the bathroom/shower was dirty specifically the shower.

Not a great experience. I booked another hotel and moved there
Pros:

Location is good but because of the construction happening in the hotel. There was bit of inconvenience to find the hotel entrance and there was no ramp accessible to the hotel

Cons:

Windows and vents were not clean. Block out curtain in the room wasn’t covering the entire window properly. I kept getting light and noises from outside in my room. I paid $400 to spend an uncomfortable night. Room was clean but vent in the bathroom was covered in dust

Pros:

Attentive front desk stuff. Room was clean and well situated. Good location, right on Victoria Square. When the aircond didn't work, the boys from front desk helped us relocate in the early morning.

Cons:

Didn't know the hotel was undergoing renovation. Minor issues with lifts and lighting in the lift lobby. The housekeeping stuff were slow to respond everytime we made a request. The rooms are old and some things were not in working order e.g. the ventilation fan in the bathroom. The opening in the shower stall is too big. Better if there's a door. Water goes everywhere.
