Don’t stay here. I’m a Marriott Titanium Bonvoy member, and they charged me $75 to check in before noon, along with $45 to park in their parking lot….. find somewhere else without the ridiculous fees.
I stayed here for two nights, July 17-19 while in the area for personal business. First, the hotel is located near the freeway, which was a plus. It's also across from a mall if you would need or want to do some shopping which I did not, so I will not be giving a review for that. When I arrived at the hotel it was pouring rain. They have multiple parking areas, however you have to have a parking pass to enter. I trued to pull up in the front of the hotel, but due to the weather, multiple people were already there blocking the front drive with cars, so I pulled to the side of the roadway by the parking lot to the right of the hotel. Upon checking in, there two people ahead of me and one person checking people in. This was approximately 4pm or 5pm so the fact that they had one person there was crazy to me. I waited for what seemed forever to get checked in. I didnt proceed to the room because I had an appointment scheduled, then I went to dinner. I arrived back at the hotel at almost 11pm and the people in the room next to mine were playing loud music, and talking loudly. I contacted the front desk and asked if they could switch my room and the guy I spoke with told me I could not, but he would send someone to ask them to turn the music down. The music was finally turned off. However, I was awakened in the morning once again to the loud music and talking, which is why I wanted the room switched; because I knew this would be an ongoing issue. Also, when housekeeping came around and knocked on the door. I was busy working on my computer. I told them I didn't need service. However, two more people came around afterwards to which again I had to tell them I didnt need service. Clearly, these people do not communicate. I gave three stars because check out was easy and efficient, and the girl who assisted me was personable, and other staff working in the hotel seemed friendly. Just know that the parking lots get filled quickly and people dont park in the spaces correctly so I would always be parked way away from the entrance walking outside in the dark. Also, the rooms are a little dated and could use some refurbishment. If I am in the area again, I would probably not stay here, as this hotel is absolutely not like any Le Meridien that I have stayed in France, and I would rate this location definitely a three star and not at all a four star or premium hotel.
The breakfast was amazing
The bathroom in my room wasn't updated and the deposit was entirely too high
The hotel is in a nice location.
When we arrived, the air conditioner for the large lobby was broken. The air in our room did not work very well, but eventually cooled off.
Great location across Atlanta Perimeter Mall, walking distance from the mall and great dining experiences.
The paid parking which increases the price of the room and stay.
Disappointing stay. I’ve stayed at hundreds of hotels, and this is the first time I’ve experienced a hotel bar running out of tap beer because management would not order additional kegs until the first of the month in order to control inventory and costs.
To me, that reflects a hotel being run more by finance and controllers than by operators focused on the guest experience. Cost control matters, but not at the expense of basic hospitality!
Nothing much
Parking fees..No cameras in the hallway
The property was extremely clean. Open not clutter. The rooms in beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. The staff was extremely inviting and nice.
I loved everything about my stay at this property.
