A good choice for short stays in Inverness.
Pros:

Great location and easy access from the railway station. A comfortable room, bed and pillows, and good shower.

Cons:

No 240v or USB sockets on either side of the bed. In this day and age, most people use their phone as their alarm and want to keep it charged overnight. It’s no longer acceptable for people to have to leave it plugged in on the other side of the room.

My room overlooked the street on a Friday night and it was very noisy outside, keeping me awake until well past midnight with shouting, singing and revving cars.

We were on train trips for 3 days, so nearness to station was good, however bedroom setup was poor!was good.
Pros:

Near to railway station.

Cons:

Looked rather shabby.
Nowhere to pack your clothes away in bedroom, no drawers or cupboards.
Pillows were extremely hard and lumpy and very hard bed!
Small bathroom, toilet very close to wall so you can’t afford to have a large posterior!

Passable but disappointing.
Pros:

The bed was comfy and had good pillows, which you can't always say for hotels.

Cons:

The staff seemed uninterested, on check out we weren't asked how our stay was, for example. On the morning of our first full day (Thursday) a large clump of mud had been brought in and was on the main stairs from reception to the first floor. It was still there when we left (Saturday). I'm sure at least one member of staff would have walked those stairs at some point! The windows didn't open, which is standard for most hotels, but the air con only went as low as 18 degrees. We had to sleep with the curtains open to let a small amount of cold air in. All of the doors are really heavy, so anytime anyone on our floor closed their room door or bathroom door the entire floor shook. There is a front and back exit, front into reception faces the train station and the back is on -1 with the car park, it wasn't immediately clear which was the front door.
