The beds were comfortable and the front desk attendant was nice.
The rugs were disgusting. I let them know but they said there was nothing they could do that night. The corner of the room smelled like urine. We were there for two nights so I wish they would have given us a better room for the second night. I wouldn’t go barefoot because the floors were that gross. The doors were pretty thin and felt like someone could get in easily.
No fan in the bathroom

Gross odors in first room. Next room wasn’t much better. AC was malfunctioning, as well.
We'd stay here again; details below. If I could have rated 4.5 stars, I would have.
Pros: Staff nice; no funky smells (though room freshener was a bit strong); clean; water sufficiently hot; water ok to drink from faucet; beds comfy though on the firm side; room heat / AC fan not too loud; breakfast decent enough (details below).
Cons: bathroom sink area is small; room a bit smaller than average; water pressure could be better but is ok; a bit pricey for what you get, but this seems to be a pricey area. We arrived at night, and the part of the parking lot we parked in was initially not lit, scary to walk from there to front; then they lit it up though.

- breakfast items include cheese omelets, good sausage, oatmeal, waffles, 3 cereals, breads and pastries; fruit; condiments good incl cream cheese and real butter; real half-and-half for coffee
- room we had had to carpet (which we prefer)

It was nice, clean and a great value for the price
Nice property, nice breakfast. Homemade cookies were excellent. Desk clerk was very nice.
Pleasant atmosphere upon arrival. Clean, bright room with comfortable beds and non-carpet flooring. Very good breakfast. Staff texted periodically to see how we were enjoying our stay. When we asked a question, the person on duty responded immediately.

Hotel seemed clean, breakfast was what you’d expect.
Pretty worn, run down and could use some repairs and paint. Seemed quite expensive for the level of shabbiness. While things appeared clean, the wear and tear makes it feel a bit dirty.
The best feature for this property is its customer service. Because of that, I was able to look past the slight signs of age on a few furniture pieces and doors due to wear and tear.
The free breakfast was amazing. And also the all day free coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. Icing on the cake was the free cookies upon check in.
Cedar Point amusement park, which was the reason for my visit, is about 20 minutes away.
The breakfast had a good selection of food. I’m appreciative of the fact that this hotel actually had towel racks as others I have stayed at do not. It was very clean and the staff was helpful.
