Great location, need better drains
Pros:

The closeness to the Riverwalk and the Alamo.

Cons:

Bathtub/shower drain was not working properly. Even with only a 3 minute shower, the rub had water standing that covered my feet.

Overall nice stay with a great location in need of some updating.
Pros:

The location was excellent. Right across from the riverwalk. The overall facility was clean and relatively new looking. The breakfast was great. There was a lot of variety and it was all very good. Highly recommend.

Cons:

My room was in need of an update. It felt and looked older. The bathroom seemed very dated and had a fold up seat in the shower that was rusty and coming off the wall. And I only got room cleaning once during the week. I would think for the price we paid it would be more often than that.

Clean and great location. Price APPEARS to be reasonable.

We arrived around 5 PM and the line was out the door. Check-in took forever there were several people complaining about over charges and demanding their money be put back immediately. The staff was taking phone calls and trying to put people off telling them they were understaffed and didn’t have time. I thought that the stay went very well… but then I checked my bank account. For one night that should’ve totaled $99 plus $38 for parking. My bank account was charged $100 deposit the booking fee on booking and then a random $591.05 charge. When I called the hotel, I was told that a manager would contact me. By the end of the day no one had when I called back I was told there was never a manager there in the first place that day. I went back to the hotel, demanding my money back. I was told that I was charged for a smoking for you when I do not smoke. When I said this, I was told that the report was started but not finished and I should get my money back in three days. This overdrafted my bank account. There was no concern on the hotel end. Even called Wyndham directly. And was told three days I could have my money back that was wrongfully taken from me. I have traveled to all but three states in this country. I’ve stayed in hundreds if not thousands of hotels. And this is the first time this has ever happened to me. I normally do stay at Wyndham hotels, but I will never ever ever stay at one again. I highly suggest you either pay the extra money and stay somewhere else or skip the pool if you want to stay downtown. Or go ahead and plan to have an extra $700 just because they wanna play games.
