We loved the convince of parking and the surrounding activities.the hotel was gorgeous and staff was very helpful

Cons:

Bed was uncomfortable and we could here noise from guest in hallway all night. We also had the TV turning on randomly while we slept and woke up to bright light in our faces. We do wish breakfast would have been p

We have stayed at this hotel previously in 2025 and I have booked multiple rooms at this hotel for family members. Very disappointed with the room the hotel placed us in this time. We booked a king room (high story). We received a room that had no seating area other than a chair pushed into the corner. The bathroom vanity was very small. Our prior experience at this hotel and the hotel photos don’t at all match the room we received. Very disappointed.

The best Bethesda has to offer even after all these decades
Pros:

Terrific location. Immaculate facilities, nicely designed. Good on-site amenities.

Cons:

A bit cavernous, but it is an old-school Hyatt designed the way they used to around a courtyard layout - with wedding-cake-layered balconies.

Give this a wide miss unless its cheap!
Pros:

1985 called - they want this hotel back. And what a trip back in time this place is. Dont believe the photos on the website - its not like that. Its 1985 all over again. Its dank and dumpy. Most of all there is nowhere to eat. There is dumpy and unclean sandwich shop off the lobby that is not affiliated with the hotel - dont even try and charge breakfast to the room. In the lobby is an otherwise lovely woman selling coffee and gas station microwave sandwiches of dubious quality. This is not worthy of being a Hyatt. It should be a Doubletree at best.
