Really enjoyed the amazing view of the harbor and HUGE room at this hotel! The window seating was so awesome (cushioned bench, it was great to see the Canada Day fireworks!) So many great shops/restaurants less than 5 min away. Anne of Green Gables Heritage House about a 45-50min beautiful drive. My 5th grade self thanks me! :-) I would just ask that your front desk staff be better trained on what Bonvoy Elite benefits guests get - I was told wrong information and then at the very good restaurant at the hotel, given totally opposite information, and the restaurant was correct. Friendly and helpful staff, esp Mohammad and the maintenance staff that helped us open our locked room door through no fault of our own. Would stay here again!
The gym, spa, pool, and workout facilities were fantastic, plenty full-sized and spacious, never crowded, and perfect for staying active during our trip.
But the real highlight of our stay was Sevete, our housekeeper. Every single day, she created the most adorable towel animals as a surprise for our two daughters. Our girls would race back to the room each afternoon just to see what new creation was waiting for them, it turned a simple hotel stay into a daily source of pure joy and excitement for them. That kind of thoughtfulness and attention to detail is what turns a good hotel into an unforgettable one.
We left with wonderful memories, and our daughters are already asking when we can go back. If you’re traveling with kids, this hotel goes above and beyond to make the whole family feel special. Highly, highly recommend!
Loved our experience at the Delta while partner attended a conference. Went out of their way to accommodate us with our young child. Waterfront restaurant has excellent kids and adult meals. Pool is large and good temp. Able to switch from provided pack and play to cot when felt it was more appropriate. Staff has been friendly and approchable. Great location
We stayed at the Delta hotels by Marriott Prince Edward Island for two nights in June. All in all, the hotel was delightful. All staff were courteous and helpful. Keep in mind that like most other Marriott properties, you will pay a hefty price to park a car. The room itself along with the amenities, met Marriott standards with one exception. Housekeeping left quite a bit to be desired. Upon entry into the bathroom, we found three hand towels haphazardly hanging on the rod and one of three bath towels that was not rolled like the other two. This left us unsure whether these were new towels or the towels used by the previous guests. Quite disconcerting. Then, the next day, housekeeping never even bothered to come to the room at all. And no, the “Do not disturb” sign was not on the door.
Our room had a nice waterfront view. I love watching the action on the waterfront and being part of it too. There is boardwalk all along the delta, leading to Peakes Quay and little shops. It is close to Founders Hall which also has shops. We had a interconnecting door on our room which was not soundproof, so you can hear your neighbour in next room. Staff were wonderful. We rented a car and went to the white sand beaches PEI has. We dined at few local restaurants. Delta is located in excellent location for tourists like us. We enjoyed our stay.
I had a great stay there, rooms were clean and service was fast
We had a great stay. Lovely friendly reception. We tried to get a room without an inter connecting door without success - so had 2 nights feeling like we were living with the people in the next door room - not very sound proof! But our room was comfortable and so was the bathroom - clean and spacious.
Location is great Fitness centre is good, view of the harbour very nice.
Our room was very clean and comfortable. However some of the areas are looking “tired”. The window seat cushion is quite sun bleached and held some stains. Spilled drinks, water but certainly doesn’t look great. The carpet is also looking a little worn.
Great location, on waterfront and very central on the main street. Nice views from 8th floor.
Very comfortable and spacious rooms
Very nice swimming pool, jacuzzi and saunas
Bar lounge area very comfortable and open until 11pm
Underground parking available.
Staff are very friendly
Kids pool currently closed
I loved everything about the hotel. The location and convenience. I loved the fitness centre and the restaurant. I especially liked how all the staff was so friendly.
Beautiful building, great location, professional staff, clean facilities
Waffles were only on kids menu
Booked a King room, but received a double Queen instead and when I went back to reception was told they didn't have enough King rooms because of a conference. Request for extra towels through the app took only 15 minutes. Lots of counter space and good lighting in bathroom. Fluffy towels but they smelled very chemically. Adjustable showerhead, but water pressure wasn't very good. Scratchy Kleenex. No issues with housekeeping. Poor lighting in room as is typical in hotels. App doesn't allow (unlike the app at other Mariott properties) pre-ordering room service such as breakfast for a particular time. Reasonable delivery fee for room service. Dinner arrived within 30 minutes.
Water's Edge (restaurant on site) - Floors were sticky and the bench seats had crumbs all over them. Ate in for breakfast and had room service dinner. The buffet looked decent but I didn't notice it until I'd ordered off the menu and it curiously wasn't listed as an option on the menu. Small tea pot but server refilled with hot water halfway through. Food came quickly, within 20 minutes. Mushroom omelette was okay, just cheddar and mushrooms. Salmon was a small portion of fish and vegetables which was disappointing for the price ($34), but had a decent taste. Tiramisu had too much whipped cream and not enough biscuit.
Great location. Clean. Good gym.
The wifi was not good and I had to use data from my phone.
