We have stayed at Up Valley many times, and this was to be our Ann. memories week during a wedding in Napa.
We made our plans in June and drove 9 hours to have the current GM call the local police to drag my wife and I out of the room. The reasons are not clear. After staying in 100 hotels around the world, this was the worst. The local police officer's off-the-book comment to me was "he will not do this GM dirt work" for ZERO reason.
Location is good
Room very clean and comfortable
No breakfast - was a surprise, when I booked, I specifically selected "breakfast included"
Price for just room a bit excessive
Front desk person not very friendly
The pool was too warm, no breakfast , too costly,
The outside sitting area was overlooking a gathering area that was too close so no privacy

Room was nice, clean and comfortable. Loved the robes. Staff was pleasant and helpful.
Wish there was more onsite food options.
Was supposed to check in on the 13th august. Arrived early hours on the 14th with nobody on site. There was a key safe with my name on, but I was never sent a code to access it. There was an out of hours number which I tried to call numerous times, so I contacted booking.com who also tried to call numerous times to no avail. Booking.com told me to wait an hour whilst they kept trying - nothing. I ended up having to pay another hotel across the road to stay the night and booking.com said I was entitled to a full cancellation. The next day I walked over to the hotel and asked what went on. They said I should have called the out of hours number - like I didn't try that lol. Anyway I was willing to let it go as long as I wasn't charged. They've now taken £200.84 out of my account and said I was a "no-show" even though booking.com back me up. Final thing - they said on reception that they didn't have my details to give me the key safe code, yet they had my bank details to take my money. Make it make sense. Clearly liars so just avoid them to be honest. Keep the 200 if it means that much.

Spent a single night hear as part of a road trip. We didn’t check in until later in the evening so wasn’t able to spent as much time in the area as we would have liked.
Such a relaxed vibe.
Rooms are great size and very comfy
You are supplied with robes too.
Pool is small but was super quiet so no worries there.
Steam room and sauna are fab.
Reception sell a few bits for snacks and drinks.
Staff were very friendly and efficient.
My daughter loved it here.

Beautiful property with a nice pool and sauna area. Rooms were spacious. Property was clean with a very friendly staff. We loved the outdoor courtyard area. It was fun to gather with friends around the tables and chairs to share some snacks and a glass of wine.
Low shower pressure. Neighbors upstairs were super loud walking back and forth across their room. (nothing the property can do) so book an upstairs room!
The rooms were large, clean and comfortable and the spa and location were awesome.
