Great location and very friendly staff
Room was very dated, dark and cold with inadequate heating. We couldn’t get any hot water for our showers. The view was of a dirty landing. Multiple utility noises woke us early in the morning. This is a budget hotel, but there is significant room for improvement.

The curtain was stained brown from what I presume to be coffee, there were no bed lamps in my room, the bathroom hadn't been cleaned seeing as there were finger prints on the flush mechanism and there were used napkins etc under the bed so Im not sure the room was cleaned either.

The dirtiest toilet ever … a good 3cm of dried faecal matter seeping from under the rim of the toilet . . I had also been clear I was disabled but was allocated a shower over a bath with no bars to hold onto to get in and out or for safety in the shower.
Steps up from street on both sides of entrance … ramp up one side would have been helpful for elderly or disabled people, or those with prams.
