Mouldy odeur in the room, dirty carpet, stains on blankets,, mould on shutters. Altogether very shabby and moreover loud.
Location was good. That was all. Location.
Cracked walls in the bathroom, staff were rude and not willing to help, snobby I would say. Parking was a lie. It's not reserved, it's first come first serve even though messaged ahead of time. Toilet leaked constantly. Laundry was not provided as promised.
The location for us was ideal .
The hot water tap over the basin was non existent for quite some time.
Exiting the shower was a bit difficult due to the big step out down to the floor.
A hand towel would have been nice.

the location is great. the price is great. the room sizes are good. the bed was comfy. the sheets were clean and tidy. It was great to get a car park available. the shower was good and good to have a bath. the rooms were warm despite having no heater. The staff were so incredibly friendly and helpful!!
the room was worn with patches in carpet. the towels were old and tired. the heater didn't work. there was no where to hang your wet towels and no daily cleaning - so this was important. the lighting wasn't great. having an armchair of some kind to sit in near the tv would have been good as it was a small TV and a long way away from beds. The foyer area is still nice although large stains on the couches there and someone in the foyer asked us where Work and Income was. She was on one of the couches surrounded by bags.
I liked that the staff were very proactive.We had a problem in our first room with cleanness so they gave us an upgrade for free to recover the mistake.

Very handy location, clean and comfortable.
not friendly if you have mobility issues, There are steps to reception but no ramp and the shower is over a very high bath so difficult to climb in and out.
Also staff are invisible
A great location for visiting family in Te Aro. A very budget room but CLEAN, bed comfy, has a fridge and tea making gear, and the staff are LOVELY!!! Have stayed a few times over recent years and tried a couple of other budget options in town but keep coming back! Excellent value for a clean bed.
It's pretty tired (esp Bathrooms - but still CLEAN!!!). Not a full hotel as you know it but value for what you pay for.
Our flight was cancelled - we just wanted somewhere to relax and sleep - Willis went over and beyond by checking us in really early. There is also a convenience store directly over the road to buy items that we needed
