The Buena Park Grand Hotel & Suites

Filthy, this place caters to party people who play music all night. The phone in the room doesn't work I had to walk from 4th floor to lobby at midnight just for the manager to be rude and ask ME what he should do about it. Offered to switch me rooms but my kids were asleep and it was past midnight. After my second complaint in person the so called night manager knocked on the people's door but that did nothing. Paid over 800$ for a Disney trip for the family and got 2 hours of sleep. Asked him for a discount and he said it sounded like I was "trying to get something out of it" well obviously I couldn't get my sleep back I was just asking for an apology or a simple 50 dollars off the 200$ stay which was the worst experience I've had staying away from home. And I've had some bad stays. Sticky floor. Bugs. Drawers dont close. No continental breakfast as advertised on THIS SITE. Phone doesn't work in room. Noone ever picks up the phone day or night when you call from the phone. -10 take this place off your site.

Run down, smelled bad, trash all over the parking area, hotel furniture pilled up everywhere, could use TLC

They lied about having breakfeast

The room was filthy and this is after changing rooms due to ac not working. Floor was peeling. Also I paid for breakfast and the kitchen was under renovation so I paid for a service that I never received with no refund

The room was terrible the toilet wouldn’t flush, the fridge didn’t work, the phone didn’t work, they are advertising breakfast online when they have no breakfast. And the staff where the worst part, a lady named Amanda was acting completely inappropriately and was flirting with my husband commenting on his eyes. And the manager I didn’t get the name it was an African American women with a fowhawk was extremely rude and charged us extra fees for us having to check out thirty mins late because we had to switch rooms the night before because nothing worked in the room then she lied about the receptionist saying we had until one to check out. Absolutely horrible facility, and staff. Pay a little extra somewhere else so you can enjoy your stay.

The place was dirty including the foyer by the elevator. It seems like it was not swept for months. There was dust on the tables. One person worked the desk. We got into the room and there was something that looked it was crawling on the curtains. Turns out they painted the curtains too. It was dirty and dingy.

We’ve stayed here when coming to Buena Park for the last 4 years and the changes are upsetting. The pool towels are so much smaller, the mattresses on the sofa beds are very uncomfortable and smell like pee, and they removed the tv from the living room part of the room so now you’re just staring at a blank wall with a hole in it. The old way was much better.

Unfortunately, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The pictures online were very misleading and the room was nothing like what I expected. The bathroom was in terrible condition—the door would not close, so we had to use the restroom with the door open. The toilet also became clogged, and we went an entire day without being able to use the bathroom.
The customer service was just as disappointing. When I checked in around 11 PM, the front desk employee explained everything to me, and she was aware that I had a pet. Everything seemed fine at first. However, the next day, I took my dog outside and was unable to get back into the hotel. The manager had locked me out because I had not paid a $150 pet deposit. This was especially frustrating because the night before, I had been told the pet deposit was $100, which I had no problem paying.
The manager’s attitude was extremely rude and unprofessional. I also felt that her appearance and presentation did not reflect the level of professionalism I would expect from someone in a management position.
One of the main reasons I booked this hotel was because it advertised being pet-friendly and offering breakfast. Unfortunately, my experience did not feel pet-friendly at all, and breakfast was not provided as expected.
Overall, the condition of the room, lack of a usable bathroom, poor communication, and customer service made this stay extremely frustrating. I would never stay here again and would not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially people traveling with pets.

I disliked that it had false advertising they said on the booking website there was free breakfast and they had no breakfast it was embarrassing and the nights we stayed were awful their AC did not work in the room and I requested to move room and no one acomodaded me in a new room . They only had 2 two very small towels that were not enough . They gave me the worst room near the remodel section toward the very back and I had paid for the patio view. I had the dumpster view . Will never stay there again . The guy that worked the counter was very unpleasant and his customer service was a -10/ 10 .

They had roaches and the facility needs an upgrade. Room smelled and bathroom door didn't work. Water pressure not good.

Bathtub was dirty or stained . Elevator needed a refresh, was pretty beat up inside
