Falling apart
Pros:

We stayed here twice last year and it was good, but this year everything was falling apart. The pool was closed for two weeks. Tiles lose, elevators not working. Shower head was coming off.

Pros:

Large suites. Good food at Burger Theory. All staff friendly & professional.

Cons:

Only thing & no ones fault. Pool was not working. They did have a shuttle to another hotel to go swimming, which was nice!

From 5star to 2star..what happened?
Pros:

Seems to be under new management since I’ve last been here (Mar2026). Then I would give it 5stars. Now the staff is different and service is no longer “with a smile” attitude, but “what do you want? I can’t wait til payday” attitude. Normally , I would have to put a $250 deposit down and the dog fee was either waived or there was none to begin with. Now, not only do I have to pay the higher room rates, but an additional $50 for my dog. I asked if they still validate parking for military and the employee said yes but I still needed to scan the QR code and fill out the info. The day after my checkout, I received a text saying I was charged $17+ for parking. When I called to get my refund, they said the fee was optional. Since they weren’t the employee who said it was validated, then I’m basically screwed. She was talking to manager about it and I asked to speak to him. She then transferred my call to a full voicemail box and I knew they didn’t care about anything I was saying. About the facility, the room gets the 2 stars, it was clean and decent. The areas for walking my dog inside and around the outer perimeter of the building is unkempt and clothes and trash is all around like homeless people have a place to stay. There’s no longer security guards that walk the premises (on my very first stay here, someone went through the parking lot trying to steal cars and when the guard came around they ran off, it’s a good deterrent). Some of the nice green grass they used to have is patchy bcuz they don’t water it anymore. The grass that’s still green hasn’t been cut. I normally don’t write reviews, but I’m only writing this review because they have horrible interpersonal skills. Now I gotta find another nice dog friendly hotel when I come to this area.

Staff was amazing from check to check out. The facility itself probably not.
Pros:

The picture are of the facility are misleading.

Cons:

Rooms are very dated. The pool was green and dirty. The lobby you can tell had a remodel. The property itself dated.

Do not stay - Cockroaches, not clean and outdated
Pros:

We recently stayed at your Phoenix airport location when returning from a vacation last night and checked out this morning. Upon arrival (with three children), we walked out to see the pool was closed with a red signed poster by an environmental inspector due to service issues. This was never communicated to us. Obviously our kids would have enjoyed to swim in 100 degree heat. Nonetheless, we entered our room, and while outdated we aren’t very picky. We observed the toilet seat was completely loose. After unloading and getting settled in, we left for dinner and returned to sleep. This morning when gathering our things, my wife discovered a cockroach larva in the coffee pot and sink. Additionally, a live cockroach crawled across the floor while gathering our things. We hurried to gather our things immediately. When we entered the lobby to wait for our uber, there was a passed out man in a chair, visibly intoxicated, with his entire hand down his pants nearly exposing himself in front of my children. Lobby staff just walked around him as if it was no issue. Attached are pictures of these issues, as the post doesn’t accept videos.

The hotel was nice but they really should reconsider the cost of their amenities.
Pros:

I like the pool and the location of our room to the pool. The shuttle to the airport was smooth and timely. The floor plan of the room was really cool as well.

Cons:

They nickel and dimed toooo much. $20 for a breakfast buffet that was awful. The free continentals at most other hotels are waaay better tasting. For $20, I expected a delicious hot breakfast. Then to pay $15/day for parking? Insanity.
