The room was clean and the reception area was welcoming.
The room walls are pretty thin so could hear everything in the other rooms/corridoors. There was loud voices coming from the next room and staff did deal with this quickly and it did help.
There was a makeup stain on a pillow, we also had another room and the person staying in there had said that the mattress topper was quite dirty.
The extractor fan in the bathroom was quite noisy throughout the night even with the light off. The aircon was also very noisy in my room when on.
Breakfast was quite limited. It is advertised that there is a pancake making machine which my child was looking forward to and when we went for breakfast it wasn’t there. So she was very disappointed.
The theme and styling of the hotel is fun. Its a nice relaxed feeling hotel, and for me not to far away from the train station.
the sound proofing between rooms is not the best (or someone had their TV on very loud) and the aircon was a little noisy - so if you were a light sleeper that may be an issue.
Fantastische Lage mitten in Manchester, unweit vom Bahnhof Picadilly und mehrere Haltestellen der Straßenbahn und Bus. Das Restaurant/Bar am Erdgeschoss war toll, gutes Essen (indisch, sehr lecker) und wir konnten das Public Viewing der Fußball WM mitmachen und ohne große Probleme einfach hoch zu unserem Zimmer gehen. Unser Zimmer war Richtung Innenhof. Man sah zwar nichts, aber es war leise, und wir konnten gut schlafen.
Keine Klobürste im Badezimmer. Fahrstuhl ständig kaputt. Als wir ankam mussten wir den Service-Fahrstuhl nutzen. Danach nur ein mega langsamer Fahrstuhl war aktiv. Der zweite funktionierte nicht. Dementsprechend war dies ständig Voll. Wir haben meistens die Treppe benutzt, und unser Zimmer war auf die 5. Etage.
I didn't stay - the twin bedded room was not an accessible room - although being told it was when I phoned up - and the woman on the staff was not very nice.

The room was spacious with everything you needed. Definitely recommend it and will definitely go back when I visit Manchester again.
