It was fine.
Pros:

The location was convenient. The laundry facilities worked great.

Cons:

We ended up with an accessible room, which was awkward and inconvenient. I pulled a chair into the bathroom so we would have a place to put our stuff down beside the sink.

Great Stay at the Residence Inn San Jose-Campbell
Pros:

We needed a hotel in the Campbell area at the last minute to be able to spend Mother's Day with my mom, who is well into her 90s. When we arrived tired, at 11 pm to check in, we were warmly welcomed, and then given a complimentary upgrade to a junior suite. It was so nice to fully unpack and unwind after a busy day in this spacious two-level suite. The complimentary breakfast the next morning had everything we could want for a quick bite. In short, our stay at the Residence Inn San Jose-Campbell was just about perfect.

Pros:

My family and I had a great stay. It was central to many fun activities in the area and the staff were very friendly.
The continental breakfast options were okay, but we preferred eating at nearby establishments for our meals.

Stay away! Outdated, falling apart and low quality.
Pros:

Yikes! Outdated, falling apart, Highgate Management takes cost cutting to extremes. Marriott should strip their brand from this property.

3,000 nights staying in Marriott properties around the world, this is at the bottom of the list.

The furniture literally is in tatters, the walls are literally falling apart, bathroom fa jets are from the 1980s (Symmons Temptrol), etc.

The bath towels are a thin as a napkin, the floor mat was thicker and larger than the “full size bath towels,” they have one garbage can in the kitchen - zero cans in the. Bedroom or bathrooms in this this two bedroom suite. My guess is because it’s less bathrooms for housekeeping to empty and can turn rooms over faster.

This property should be avoided until they renovate.

Marriott should strip their brand from this property.

That aside, the staff at the front desk were great: Kristin, Christina, and Jackie. The nice lady at the breakfast was very attentive and helpful.
