The place was convenient to us for our trip. There were restaurants nearby.
There was a blackout for 2 hours at night.
Like most people I read the recent reviews; both negative and positive. Overall, the room was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated, bed was comfortable and the breakfast exceeded my expectations. Would stay again.
Convenient location, clean room, helpful staff.
The room we had was at the end of the building closest to the major street. Although there wasn’t much noise from the busy street, the curtain covering the window that faced the street didn’t really block out the bright light from outside so the room was fairly bright all night.
How the deposit being withheld wasn't upfront knowledge and when there was a snag returning I had to hunt them down to get the refund going. Also counter person when I checked in was on phone and not eager to help.
It was comfortable, and clean.
I requested an ADA complaint room. I called the property before days before arrival. The room was NOT compliant, I could barely get past the door to close it, the bathroom was inaccessible by wheelchair and had no grab bars, no seat for the shower. While checking in, the front desk person asked more questions than legally allowed regarding my guest's service animal, requested to make a copy of her animal's credentials. After that exchange he told us that they "don't have any rooms ready," though I'd verified the day before when we could check in. Only after we witnessed him check someone else in did he tell us that we could check in. This felt retaliatory for my insistence on protecting our rights provided by the Americans with Disabilities Act. I will not return, nor suggest the property to anyone.
