Pros:

Der Aufenthalt war insgesamt sehr komfortabel. Das Zimmer war sauber, die Betten ausgesprochen bequem und ich habe mich dort sehr wohlgefühlt. Besonders positiv fand ich das reichhaltige und ausgewogene Frühstücksbuffet mit einer großen Auswahl. Auch darüber hinaus gab es im Hotel vielfältige und qualitativ gute Möglichkeiten zum Essen. Insgesamt entsprach das Angebot genau dem Standard und der Verlässlichkeit, die ich von einer internationalen Hotelkette wie Hilton erwarte.

Cons:

Weniger gelungen fand ich die Situation rund um den Pool. Dieser befindet sich auf der gegenüberliegenden Straßenseite und ist nur über eine Brücke und einen separaten Zugang erreichbar. Zusätzlich muss man sich für die Nutzung eintragen. Für ein Fünf-Sterne-Hotel empfinde ich diese Lösung als eher umständlich. Besonders schade ist, dass der Poolbereich zudem nicht ausschließlich Hotelgästen vorbehalten ist. Bei einem Hotel dieser Kategorie hätte ich einen privaten Poolbereich für Gäste erwartet.

Auch beim Housekeeping fehlte teilweise die für Hilton erwartete Aufmerksamkeit für Details. Conditioner und Bodylotion wurden während meines Aufenthalts nicht aufgefüllt, und auch beim Toilettenpapier wurde über die drei Tage nicht zuverlässig für Nachschub gesorgt. Das sind Kleinigkeiten, die in einem Haus dieser Kategorie eigentlich selbstverständlich funktionieren sollten. Insgesamt hatte ich stellenweise den Eindruck, dass nicht alle Mitarbeitenden gleichermaßen mit den Standards einer internationalen Fünf-Sterne-Kette vertraut waren.

Absolutely loved our stay at Hilton Colombo! The team surprised us with the most beautiful anniversary cake and lovely setup it was such a wonderful and thoughtful touch that made our day extra magical. 🎂✨ The service was outstanding from start to finish, the room was beautiful, and everyone made us feel so welcome. Thank you for making our anniversary so memorable! Highly recommend to everyone visiting Colombo. 🥂

Absolutely loved everything about Hilton Colombo! ✨ Beautiful, modern, and immaculately maintained property every corner feels elegant and welcoming. The beds are so comfortable, the room is spotless, and the service? Simply outstanding. We were blown away by the lovely anniversary surprise a gorgeous cake and such a thoughtful touch that made our day extra magical. The team truly goes above and beyond. Can’t recommend enough 10/10, we’ll be back! 🥂

Great stay in Colombo, would recommend!
Pros:

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with great views of Colombo! The staff were also really friendly and accommodated us with an early check-in which was much appreciated.

Cons:

The breakfast was good but not on par with the quality provided at other hotels in Colombo, although there was a huge selection available from different cuisines. We went during the last hour of breakfast service and found several items had stopped being topped up by that point, which was a shame.

Rooms are big, modern and clean. Bed is very comfortable
