Great Hotel & Staff (except the manager/owner)
Pros:

Stayed for 6 nights in May. The hotel
Is within the medieval city walls and has a lot of character and is within walking distance of all the town’s attractions.

The room was spotlessly clean, and the private seating area outside each room was a real bonus. Breakfast was excellent, menu, rather than buffet, style due to the hotel only having 13 rooms.

The staff were great, always friendly and chatty, especially the young guy who served breakfast most mornings (sorry didn’t get his name).

Cons:

The only negative was the blonde haired manager/owner (not exactly sure which she was). She was clearly full of her own importance and strutted around with a scowl on her face. Not once did we see her engage any of the guests and the first couple of mornings she completely ignored us when we said good morning (so we never spoke to her after that).

As the manager/owner she should be setting an example to her team, but instead she could take a few lessons from them as regards customer service.

That aside we had a great stay.

Very disappointing. We don’t understand how this hotel could have been given a 5 rating. We always stay in 5 star hotel

No adequate hot water system. We had cold showers 8 days out of 10. The system is mostly solar with insufficient backing.
The food menu is very limited. Mostly a wine bar.

Pros:

L’emplacement au milieu de la ville ancienne à l’intérieur des remparts, l’accueil, la décoration, la petite terrasse individuelle, le calme absolu,le petit déjeuner servi. Le restaurant propose des plats savoureux.
Le propriétaire nous a porté la valise (très lourde) jusqu’à l’entrée de la ville moderne pour prendre le bus, ainsi que pour l’accès à la chambre.

Cons:

Pas de parking mais c’est normal au vu de la situation de l’hôtel
