A Pet Friendly Hotel That Feels Like Home

We welcome everyone at The Bostonian Hotel, including your four-legged family members. Our pet friendly hotel in heart of Boston welcomes your pets with additional accommodations including water bowls and toys, as well as proximity to the Green Way for walks and fresh air through the city. The Bostonian allows leashed dogs throughout the hotel public areas, with the exception of our restaurants and the Fitness Center. For guests who have allergies, The Bostonian also offers designated pet-free floors. We offer packages included doggy bags, treats, dog beds, water and food bowls.

Pet Policy

We ask that your pets occupy the same room, weigh less than 25 pounds and are not left in the room unsupervised. If your pet needs to be left in the room unsupervised it must be crated in case staff members need to enter the room in the event of an emergency. Upon arrival, guests will be charged a nonrefundable $75 pet fee. Additional cleaning fees may result if Housekeeping deems it necessary. Pets are not allowed in the restaurant, fitness center, or meeting space. Failure to comply with the Hotel Pet Policy may result in being asked to leave without refund.

Service animals are welcome at the hotel and throughout the conference areas regardless of breed. If your service animal requires special conditions, please speak with our Front Desk or call 617-523-3600 prior to your arrival.

Solid hotel goodlocation
Pros:

Location worked well for our needs. Felt safe. Rooms were spacious. Bellmen were friendly and helpful. We appreciated the complimentary water bottles. The bathrooms were updated and nice.

Cons:

The gym could use a refresh, as could hallway paint. One elevator was broken.

Gorgeous Hotel with wonderful staff in the best possible location, but room 801 is not a good room.
Pros:

Insanely terrific location! Also loved that we could purchase discounted trolley tickets at the front desk. And Paula was delightful at the front desk!

Cons:

The shower in room 801 only gave lukewarm water. The sink water got hot, but not the shower. Also, the vent in the bathroom did not work, so blow drying my hair in the bathroom set off the fire alarm in the bedroom and maintenance had to come disable the fire alarm. Additionally, the lamp next to the bed only worked part of the time, and the Wi-Fi connection was spotty. I'm guessing it had to do with the room being so far away from the rest of the hotel. Lastly, the view from the room was of the air conditioner on the rooftop. It was kind of a terrible room, but the hotel itself was incredible!

Cons:

The price of the hotel room was far too high. The room had a very unpleasant smell, and I found a used bar of soap. The towels were not always replaced, and on some days the room was not cleaned at all. The room was also too dark. The windows did not close properly, so a great deal of noise could be heard from the courtyard. In addition, there was no option to book breakfast when reserving the room.

Great location, good big room with big bed. Could be cleaner and service room on daily basis.

Great location, good sized room with big bed. Great shower too.

Cons:

The carpets are very dirty. The door into bathroom had a big stain on it, think someone spilt coffee. We stayed 2 days and room was not serviced. There was only one coffee pod for 2 guests over 2 days.

Place close to touristic center

Cons:

The walls in our room were scratched and dirty, and the bathroom door was broken, so we couldn't close it. The body wash dispenser in the shower was empty, so we had to use our own shampoo. The handle on the balcony door was completely broken, with the screws visibly unscrewed. For $395 a night, I would expect much better service.

Great hotel right in the heart of everything
Pros:

The location is amazing.
It is right across the street from Quincy Market and Fanueial Hall
Right around the corner from the North end. Everything we wanted to do was walking distance

Cons:

The restaurant wasn't great
The food was cold.
Wait staff was on the phone, could be bothered to bring just the small extra (sour cream) that was supposed to come with the meal anyway.

Room was not ready for check in, did not have kcup coffee in the room and the machine at the lobby that sell coffee was out of coffee. ask the front desk to find the kcup for me and the guy was sleeping and did even bother to look for.
